I'm not sure they can have much cause for complaint when their anthem is "we'll live and die in these towns" by the enemy! Great song btw but the lyrics don't exactly scream come and vist Coventry!

Does Mike Ashley still own it?And it starts with Spurs fans.
Anyway, tell these cunts to come back when they own their own stadium.
Wow!! That kit!
Wasn't one of the 1882 games at the old ground against Coventry in the cup ? Had blocks in the east stand.
Must have been in the top 3 shittest grounds, the Dell, Plough Lane and Highfield Road.Loved going to Highfield Road as it was a good old school dump of a ground. Had some good victories there in the 90s as well as some traumatic losses. New ground looks as plain and uninspiring as any I’ve seen across the football leagues. Coventry are a noisy bunch so should be fun.
It was run down but had a heart and soul. Also, the view from the side stand where the away fans were was decent, and you could always make a good noise there. I loved going to dumps like that 100x more than any new ground today.Must have been in the top 3 shittest grounds, the Dell, Plough Lane and Highfield Road.

Spurs v Coventry: More 1882 than 1987
The contest was over the second Andre Villas-Boas handed in the team sheet. Whilst some Premier League managers may consider winning a trophy, earning extra revenue and playing football a nuisance, AVB thankfully sees the FA Cup as a route to glory. After they redeveloped the Park End in the late 70's the away terrace at Goodison was dire.Must have been in the top 3 shittest grounds, the Dell, Plough Lane and Highfield Road.
Saw Springsteen @ the Richo Arena.Have we ever played at the richo arena I remember going to Highfield road when we got got done 4 nil I think.
I did Cambridge in 86 , a very quirky and memorable away evening. Vividly remember being at Everton in early eighties ( 83? ) when we lost 2-0 in the FA Cup ( the late Andy King scored one of them )The away end was absolutely rammed and it was the only time I recall being truly concerned for my safety- packed in like sardines and absolutely nowhere to go.After they redeveloped the Park End in the late 70's the away terrace at Goodison was dire.
Always tried to stand on the ledge at the back.
Was and still is a great ground to visit.
Cambridge '86 anyone? Walking through a field to get to the away end - and very similar to the Goodison view.
Wouldn't have missed it for the world though.
I'll see your Springsteen and raise you exhibiting at a trade show at the Ricoh. Oh yeah baby...
Loss confirmed
The away seats at Everton before they built the new stand had a brilliant view. Felt like you were looking right over the goal. Was there when Everton paraded the fa cup in 1984. We stuffed them 4-1 first game of the season. Clive Allen and Chiedozie. After they redeveloped the Park End in the late 70's the away terrace at Goodison was dire.

Top of the league with Everton all season then blew up at the end.
