Question was about big games.
Of the big games he’s been available for since Ange came in, he’s probably been excellent in 50%

Question was about big games.
Was unplayable in the home win vs Liverpool. Jones got sent off because he was frustrated from not being able to get near him.
The 2-2 vs the gooners he was excellent as well
So 2 out of what 20 "big games"?Question was about big games.

I’m not talking Conte era. He didn’t get picked. So 2 out of what 20 "big games"?
Think 50% is a stretch but even if true it's evident he's very hit and miss. Certainly not Mr.Reliable that completely ruins us by not playing (unlike VDV for example).
People switching narrative up like he's been a key player for us when in reality he's never been anything other than patchy at best. He's rarely been bad in any of the "big" games he's played. They were just two examples of him being very good in "big" games.
he's pivotal to the way Ange wants to play and we certainly have nobody as good as him for that remit, so your "won't be missed" statement is stupid.

Just proves how much some flashy dribbling elevates fan's perception of a player. The guy has so many flaws as a 6 in this system.
Pretty sure he'll be replaced next summer.
But honestly actually really expect Bentancur to be much better.Badly missed vs the scum imo. Might even be our most important player.
His press resistance and ability to break lines with passes allows Maddsion to play further forward more often.
Injuries aside.Bentancur has regressed at a rate of knots, can only hope he gets back to that player we signed 2 years ago.But honestly actually really expect Bentancur to be much better.

His temperament is very volatile for me now. I always thought he was a gentle but tenacious-if-required guy. But when he smashed the sub bench chair in our last game of last season after being subbed, it raised some red flag for me. Then came the Uruguay melee he had. Finally, did you guys see how he smashed the toy basketball hoop when he couldn't get the balls in the little basketball game from the social media content posted last week?Injuries aside.Bentancur has regressed at a rate of knots, can only hope he gets back to that player we signed 2 years ago.
He hasn’t regressed. He was cheap and unwanted by a shit Juve, and Serie A isn’t as fast robust the PL.
He has one speed. Plod. Did you see him running in treacle on n a couple of those Woolwich breaks?
omg that was disgusting! what a scumbag. utter filthFinally, did you guys see how he smashed the toy basketball hoop
I did see that.He looked like a rabbit in the headlights, his positional awareness all over the fucking place. He hasn’t regressed. He was cheap and unwanted by a shit Juve, and Serie A isn’t as fast robust the PL.

he was definitely overrated by spurs fans early on. hes a decent player but if hes starting for us week in week out then the midfield is not a strong midfield. hes good for rotation. klopp would use him well.I did see that.He looked like a rabbit in the headlights, his positional awareness all over the fucking place.
I had high hopes for Bentancur when we signed him.I thought he was really good early on.Unfortunately since coming back from that long term injury it’s not happened for him.
Maybe was suckered into thinking that. When he came in in the January he played a big part in us getting top 4 ahead of Woolwich.Even before the injury he was one of the better performers,he was definitely overrated by spurs fans early on. hes a decent player but if hes starting for us week in week out then the midfield is not a strong midfield. hes good for rotation. klopp would use him well.
should not be a nailed down starter. at his best hes not better than bissoumas best. i got a feeling gray will be better too, once hes given a fucking chance.

He’s just not impacting the game much atmBut honestly actually really expect Bentancur to be much better.
