Now this is NOT and anti-Ange thread at all. I genuinely like him and hope things start to click into place.

However, we all know how Levy likes to throw off scrutiny by shuffling the deck with a new manager, so who would be your preference if it comes to that?

My choice would be Graham Potter but that's more to do with the lack of options.
End of the day it doesnt matter who the manger is until the chairman leaves. Weve had legendary managers and even they cant win with this ownership.

What gets me is that these are the same people who cry 'of course I want to be proven wrong about Ange' when pulled up on their negativity.

Then these threads get started and they give themselves away. They can't wait for Ange to fail which means they can't wait for Spurs to fail.
Meh, don't think it's that deep. It's just odd timing for a Spurs fan less than 24hrs to kick off. I think if you are unanimously positive and optimistic about the direction of travel after the last 21 years you are just as odd though. 5 mins after the game tomorrow if we lose fair enough .

Apparently he's already committed to being the next Archbishop of Canterbury.

Nothing

Incoming players are on lower wages than the players they are replacing eg Solanke / Kane

I also don’t believe he has much say in player choice and I have zero faith in Levy or anyone else he has employed
well hes a stone faced liar then as he himself says hes overseen transfers, johnson was his number 1 target. he wanted to pay 50m for that...

hes had 300m worth of new players come in to play his suicide system...results need to sharpen up quick!

Not sure Potter is the way to go, his team had possession but struggled to turn it into goals a bit like ange now.
Better off sticking with what we have I would say.

At least his teams are better protected defensively than this Ange team. The current keystone cops defending is embarrassing

Also Potter is open to using 3 centrebacks and attacking wingbacks which would better suit the players we currently have

No defendid that we sack Ange now, despite I don't like the way we play, but it seems so naive from the board that we gone from the most negatives managers possible to probably the most attacking mind one in a heartbeat. And what admires me the most is we had appointed the negative managers (Nuno, Mourinho and Conte), when our better players were our attacking players and we had a laughable defense. Now we build a very strong back line that is given to a guy that ask them to play as attacking midfielders. I just think we would be more succesfull if we have a more balanced manager.

This reply is conflating purposeful possession with sterile possession. Potter's team may have struggled to turn their efforts into goals but they did create massive numbers of chances...we don't. There was a PL graph showing our possession and touches in the box but it didn't translate into chances...Potter's did.

Additionally, Potter's attacking intent was built on solidity in the back...which we do not have. Stats show we don't give up a lot of chances but we do give up very good chances...which is why Newcastle only had like 3 chances but scored 2 of them...a common theme.

I'd be very happy with Potter...but I'm in no rush to rid ourselves of Ange (but his limitations will be clear for all to see by the end of the year). Point being, we are limited by other factors. And within those limitations I think Potter is a better choice...leaking goals gets old. Potter is flexible versus Ange who seems wedded to his one trick.

There will never be any success until Levy goes. That’s the cold hard facts

After 25 years of woeful underinvestment vs peers, we signed a few kids from Leeds, Burnley, Sweden and Solanke. Let’s be honest - Pep wouldn’t turn these speculative gambles into a top 4 side

Yes - if only he was as good at the football management as he is at selling the tat, we'd be right up there.
