That’s a really strange take. Maddison has seen almost double the ball Kulusevski has. Kulusevski has his from the ball several times in build up down the right, and he’s also wasted two or three fantastic attacking situations with carelessness with the ball.

I’d still have rather had him out there than Johnson - as a RF - who is pointless in these deep block games, but we need a proper R8 to help us build through the block.

Madders has recieved the ball and has either tried a 1-2 with Son/Udogie, or dwindled on the ball after he has recieved it from the CBs. Kulusevski has pushed forward whenever he's had the ball, and he's looked threatening with it.

Kulusevski’s been like a bulldozer (good thing) but he needs an end product. Maddison albeit not much choice… needs to try and avoid playing 1-2s with Son and Udogie as neither of these two have the skill set to play tippy tappy football.
