Ex-Spurs Player Érik Lamela

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just wait and see, from the looks of it, all depends on the offers from the Italian clubs, if someone stumps up a good enough deal for a transfer it looks as if it's on but Tottenham aren't interested in any loan deals. So right now the agent is in Italy seeing what the best offers are because 100% Lamela has indicated his preference is to go back!

The ball is in Tottenham's court but Levy has instructed Baldini to listen to serious offers for a sale. Inter who now have an Indonesian owner are desperate but they look the least likely with Juve leading the negotiations at this stage although Lazio & Roma are both interested. The brother Twitter is just good PR just like the extra training pics and the usual nonesense about loving the fans and the badge etc

Let's wait and see what happens but this one seems to be 100% player agitating for a move back to his comfort zone.

Sorry where is all this info coming?

yes and your main point is invalid. If you think Chadli and townsend are more talented footballers than Lamela then you need to go to specsavers.

Didn't say they had more talent but both are more effective wide players than Lamela for this league. Look, toss all you want on the blow up picture of the back of his neck and try and get it on that tattoo all u want but I'm telling you facts, Lamela can't handle it here and he wants off. So get your wanks in early!

Please show me 100% proof that Lamela wants to go back. Show me! Otherwise, your claims are, as I've come to expect, completely devoid of evidence. Somehow his brother's comment is just PR bullshit, but his Dad's is 100% unbiased fact. Come on.

I'd love to know how you seem to have such in depth knowledge of Baldini, Spur's transfer strategies, and the personal feelings of Erik and the entire Lamela family.

Yo Momma told me!!

don't cry, dry your eye, here comes yo momma with those two little guys

cause your an inbred aussie perhaps?

as much as id love to trade insults with you, particulary as you seem so inept at name calling i come on here to have sensible debate with other spurs supporters..

lets just say you like lennon plus everyone else on the team including the waterboy before lamela and you believe his shit and wont cut it in english football. Whilst i dont agree with you veiws i respect the fact you are allowed to have them. Lets just leave it at that..

He's not a winger! this is so similar to Modric, we have a technical genius, who we're sticking on the wing then moaning about his lack of impact in the game and lack of physical presence.

Roma wanted to keep him to replace Totti, in the 10, at his other team he was also a 10. Eventually we have to play him of Ade and he will produce

In front of Ade or instead of Ade? Personally, I can't see him and Ade working together. Neither one are true stikers and more often than not we will end up with a 6 midfielders. Him instead of Ade might work nicely. If need be, Eriksen pushed out left with Dembele/Paulinho in the middle. If need be, Lamela pushed out right with Lennon coming out and Ade filling in.

Something like:
Walker - Dawson - Chiriches - Rose
--------------Sandro
Lennon - Eriksen - Townsend
--------------Lamela
-------------Soldado

i personally think he will be better as a wing forward. Whilst he has the close control of a number 10, he seems to be a little too selfish at times as well as enjoying running at defenders from space..

@ Sanchez18 Sanchez18

i also think his better suited to a free roaming role where he can interchange with anyone accross the front three..

I agree. For me, he fits better into a 4-3-3. It doesn't look to be going in that direction. I'm looking for alternatives to get Lamela into the first team. With Defoe leaving we are also short of strikers. Lamela can help fill in. Hopefully this will help Ade so he doesn't have to play in every single game.

your right in that i cant see sherwood going 4-3-3 as he seems intent on having both ade and soldado up top...given de boer is heavily linked does anyone know his philosophy on inverted winger/wing forwards? im assuming he plays 4-2-3-1 but anything else?
