Match Coventry City v Tottenham Hotspur | Carabao Cup 3rd Round | Sept 18th | 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Redknapp is right Ange did take liberties with his team selection. Strange for someone desperate for a win and after what happened at Fulham last season.

The drop off from Romero/VDV to Drag/Davies is too big. We can't get any play going.

Without Kulu and Madders in the side we have no way to threaten.

We know our wingers are shit but there's nothing we can do except hope we don't see Werner again.

With Odobert out we are very thin. Moore needs to get a shot. Werner, Johnson, Son are not good enough (good finish from BJ but he was utter gash for 94 mins, it's not sustainable).

Ange is still in big trouble. Alarm bells would have been ringing for Levy tonight.
Just drop the wingers and play with 3 at the back.

I like how 5th whilst binning off the cups and a couple points ahead of an in crisis Chelsea who sacked their manager is being used as some odd marker of great success.

He started incredibly well, we've then been absolute crap for about a season and a half. Tonight was embarrassing on a number of levels and we have more tough away fixtures round the corner after an inevitable shitfest against Brentford. But happy clap away, I'm sure it'll solve all the obvious problems.
He hasn't been in charge for a season and a half.

Progress isn't always a straight line. No one will remember this performance if we win the tournament.

Happy clapping or thinking everything is shit won't change what happens on the pitch, but at least I won't be miserable.

And who exactly do you propose we get to replace him? How many managers do we have to chop and change before fans like yourself realize that doesn't work?

Fucking hell, we literally have neighbours down the road who were dogshite for several seasons under their current manager, but they stuck with him, now they've been challenging for the title the last couple of season.

Woolwich never looked this bad under Arteta at all, and defintely not a year in. People keep going on about Arteta and Woolwich like that is the blue print to follow when we have someone so out of his depth in Ange.

If you watched that tonight, or recently and think Ange's system is working, I don't know what to tell you. We are fucking rancid. He literally escaped the sack tonight by the skin of his teeth. it should change nothing if you are assessing Ange's suitablity for the job. I genuinely think he's one of the worst coaches we've had in decades.

If I was Levy I'd still sack him, in fact I would have done it in the summer.

We should have lost tonight by about 4 goals if Coventry had any quality. Even Championship teams can completely expose Ange's system.

And don't get me started on the disdain he showed the match with his team selection.

I'd go for Ireola or Amorim.

Let me ask then - if we go down to defeat 1-0 tonight as it looked for all the world like we would, does Levy sack him? Or does chrome dome maintain his silence and we see Ange plod further on from here? I don't think he'd have been sacked

So do i!

My single positive, apart from the late goals, was that I thought Spence looked ok. Not entirely sure what position he was playing or what he had been told to do, but he looked aggressive and attacking. Tried to move the ball quickly. Took responsibility for attacks.

He looked ok.
He played the inverted Lb role but did it much more effectively than Udogie has in a long, long time.

I’m sure a piece of that was it was Coventry but udogie was pretty awful first half vs same competition.

Spence earned himself more time on the pitch.

Really got put of jail there. Good finish from Johnson, really hope he kicks on from here. Kulusevski and bergvall positives. The rest mainly awful, I hope Werner never plays for us again. Davies predictably asleep for their goal.

Don't understand the solanke sub at all, thought his line up selection was poor. He looks like he's given up tbh.

Lot of pressure on Saturday. When we inevitably go that goal down it's going to get toxic I think.
