People will jump on this quote the next opportunity they can but it’s an honest answer and as a fan it gives me a simple enough decision, get on board or don’t.
And I am on board. This is the club I support because of its history of playing football a certain way and having a certain type of player.
Funny thing is, the way we press from the front has an element of pragmatism to it. Sometimes I think Ange is more than happy for that to go under the radar when he’s saying things about attacking football.

Such a cop out. Son is one of the best/most clinical forwards in the league, Solanke cost 65 and scored 19 in this league for B'mouth last season and Brennan, Kulu etc aren't great but they're still decent.
Most teams in this league would kill to have our forward options. They ain't Gucci but they ain't Primark either, and two of them (brennan + Solanke) Ange has been open about very much wanting.
This. If you've got a problem with our tactics, that's on the manager.
If you've got a problem with our forwards, that's... also on the manager since two of our starting three (Solanke, Brennan) he cherry picked for his system and the third (Son) he absolutely adores.

Uhh I think I get where you’re coming from but apart from Brentford game I don’t see where this confidence that we’re better than our current position in the table is coming from? I just don’t see it.
Until we play like we did against Brentford in several matches (and even if we continue dropping points), I won’t be convinced we’re that good.
I’m not the biggest fan of our attacking players but this sounds like Graham Potter at Brighton copium.

Yeah I mean .. he made him captain. And Son, regardless of what people think of him, is easily one of the most productive PL forwards in recent years. He's top tier for delivering goals and assists. So if he's part of the reason we're struggling then fuck, I'd love to see who the club bring in to play instead...
It's pretty obvious what Ange wants in his forwards. Pace, pressing, directness. Son/Solanke/Johnson in that regard is a pretty Ange tailored front three, and I fail to see us anytime soon massively upgrading on the 65m striker we signed, the 50m winger we just signed, or one of the clubs greatest ever players who got 16 goals 10 assists in the league last season and has 2 goals 2 assists this season.
