23/24 - went out on penalties away to Fulham in our first Carabao Cup match

22/23 - lost 1-0 away to Sheffield United’s reserves in the FA Cup, lost 2-0 away to Forest in the Carabao Cup

21/22 - lost 1-0 away to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup

20/21 - lost 5-4 away at Everton in the FA Cup

Tell me about it - went to every one of them games - dreading Coventry - still will be home nice and early
 
Now they’ve seeded Euro sides at this point, there are loads of crap draws left City, Chelsea, United and let’s face it Liverpool will wallop the Spammer, Woolwich will somehow scrape past the mighty Bolton and Newcastle will beat Wimbledon. Then there is Brighton and Villa as well - I’d take a home draw but not wouldn’t fancy us away and we just don’t get home draws in this comp. Out of the 30 possible draws, we want to avoid

City x2
United x2 - they will go strong
Liverpool x2 - I think Slot will have an eye on this
Chelsea x2 - we have zero fucking luck with that rabble
Woolwich Away - wouldn’t mind them at home, Arteta will go weakish
Newcastle Away - horrible ground for us recently
Villa Away - tough
Brighton Away - tough

12 from 30 to avoid. Normally I wouldn’t care and would think it would be good to knock some of the better sides out, but I’m just pissed with the amount of times United or Woolwich get a home draw against an absolute dump side whilst we get Liverpool/City

Will be 3 lower div sides in the last 16. They say prem lge don’t take it seriously, neither does anyone else.
Would we really miss it. Don’t think so . We are the only country with 2 knock out cups.
