I don't think it will go South or anything close. I don't think we're going to win the league this season, either. We're entering into a more realistic phase of the project. Probably about to go on another hot streak and start to move up the table. Spurs are at a point where one or two positive additions at the transfer window could make a big difference. Watching Spurs reminds me of horse racing. You're looking at form and the running lines as much as wins. Compared to last season they pass the eye test for improvement. I'm not convinced you can win the league with this system, but if you get three seasons of stability in the manager's job, return to attacking football, and develop a young squad you can check it off as success.
When I mean south I don't refer to relegation, I mean it all going to shit again after a number of defeats.
Yes your right, no chance of the league, but if we are measuring success by developing a young squad, that's quite a low bar for a club that costs a small fortune to watch.

Liverpool by the way have played 7 won 6 lost 1 in the league. So yeah no shit they haven’t sacked their coach.
We have played lost 3 drawn 1 won 3. Nobody cares if we’ve beaten some Mickey Mouse teams in the cups.

Considering 5 months ago, the fanbase had to deal with a pile on from the media. Instigated by the manager as unintentional as perhaps it was. That we as a fanbase and club were just losers. "Big Ange" is such a winner, and he wants to instill a mentality that every game is life or death and he should get out of Tottenham because they don't deserve him.
However, now the message is that winning only matters as long as we aren't falsely rewarded?

Nope, because top of the league. Sort of helps out. As well as beating AC Milan away in Europe instead of carrier bag FC.
If they play a few more good sides and shit the bed like we usually do under Ange I’m sure it’ll become a worry for them.
