Match Europa League - vs AZ Alkmaar - 24/10

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

More likely a similar level team that beat Ferencvaros away, so we also keep a strong team available for Crystal Palace away next weekend.

Vicario, Porro, Gray, Romero (c), Davies, Bergvall (Maddison 65), Bissouma, Sarr (Solanke 82), Werner (Johnson 65), Lankshear (Kulusevski 65), Moore.
Substitutes (not used): Forster, Austin, Bentancur, van de Ven, Dorrington, Cassanova, Ajayi.

Would not surprise me to see Lankshear start as striker again with Moore at right wing, and possibly Richarlison starting at LW. .

A few big guns on bench to come on after say 60 mins if necessary, so they are also ready to start next weekend.
How you can actually give an exact time for the subs is 😂😂😂😂

Vicario
Gray….Dragusin….Davies…..Spence if fit or Udogie
Bentancur…..Madison…….Sarr
Johnson……..Richy…….Werner

although I hope it’s not quite this.

Think it’ll be Solanke or Lankshear start, with Richie a guaranteed early sub (pre75 mins) for either. Don’t see him being ready to start.

I got the logic with Werner on Saturday but it’s become beyond parody.

Gray, Bergvall, Dragusin all need game time and feel Madders needs to start.

Important to get the win at all costs as the next game is our toughest - Galatasary Away, followed by our 2nd toughest Roma at Home. Both ARE winnable but a loss and a draw is a fair possibility so another 3 points is critical.

Need full or near full rotation against Troy Parrott’s AZ. After AZ, the first 11 needs to start 3 games in 8 days against Palace (league), City (cup) and Villa (league) - so I think they need to be rested against the team that sits 5th in the Eredivise.

Plus the kids need game time. Want to see what Moore, Lankshear, Gray and Bergvall (if healthy) can do. If the kids don’t play in a game like this at home - When do they play?

Another EL home game should mean another 3 points. Win this and well be very well set to qualify, especially considering we have to go away to Galatasary and Rangers. That said, I'd rest Solanke, Johnson, and Kulusevski - all three have a lot of miles in their legs already and could do with a rest to keep them fresh. I'd start Son, Moore and Richarlison up top, but only play Son and Richy for 60 mins max. Midfield would be Sarr, Maddison and Bentancur as all three only played 45 mins or less at the weekend.

Vicario
Gray Dragusin VDV Davies
Bentancur
Sarr Maddison
Moore Richarlison Son

Subs: Forster, Porro, Romero, Udogie, Bissouma, Kulusevski, Bergvall, Wenger, Solanke, Johnson
Makes sense to me. TBH, if you are gonna rest key players wouldn’t involve them at all. Romero, Kulu and Solanke

------------------Vicario-----------------
Gray-----Dragusin---Romero--Davies
-----------Bentancur--Bergvall---------
-----------------Maddison---------------
----Moore---------------------Werner--
----------------Richi/Lankshear------

I think Ange will make a lot of changes for this game. There are three big games coming up and we'll need to be full strength for those.

Foster.
Gray.
Romero. Half game.
Dragusin.
Davies.
Bentancur.
Sarr.
Bergvall.
Moore.
Lankshear.
Richarlison.
