I still find it so funny people think jose was gonna beat pep in that final

We went to the a month earlier and got our cheeks slapped 4-0

This ‘Jose would def have won’ is a bit much

I don’t think that anyone is saying that we would defo have won with Jose but much more of a chance than Mason’s Mates surely

3 games in 6 days, there will have to be some changes.

For me the Villa game is more important than this one
Can I ask why ? We are going to struggle to even get in the conference league next season. Nothing is going to be achieved in the league this season, so why just give up on an opportunity to win a trophy. our season is the league cup and fa cup. That’s all we have. Forget the europa , we will get knocked straight out of that towards the business end .

I’d rather us beat Palace honestly- at least then we’d be capable of beating who we at least ought to. For me the league is of great importance- and I believe Ange believes as much too as he did very little rotating in the side he set out against them yesterday.

People watching us lose to Palace and then hoping we can reasonably beat City in a cup match? I’d save that as more of a possible sweetener than something I’d be actively expecting.

Beating Palace though is something we should be DOING- not just trying to do.
Welcome to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Losing matches we should be winning and winning matches we should be losing is what we do.

If we finish less than 5th, which he achieved last season with an arguably worse squad, we are going backwards and he should be sacked.
Well all bar some kind of outrageous January transfer window and change of style from Ange , then it’s pretty much a certainty we won’t be coming 5th.
I believe on giving a manager 2 seasons. It’s certainly not going very well in his second so far. I think we will gather enough points in our home games to keep us away from the bottom 6 so I think his job will be safe untill the summer

Whoever we play wherever we play them I’m expecting a loss but pleasantly surprised when we win

Can’t see Ange being here after Xmas

Journeyman blagged his way here and has been found out big time

We aren't winning this one.

City's kids are better than the likes of Werner and Johnson and they'll still be able to field some top quality experienced rotation options.

How do you work that out. There are far better teams in Carabao and FA Cup. Can we beat all of the following over a two legged tie…. Lazio, Roma, Man Utd, Frankfurt, Bilbao, Galatasaray, Olympiakos, Lyon.
We certainly can.

I think I'm with Justin here. As it stands I reckon he'll get to the end of the season. Unless he has a Conte style blow up of course, which I don't think is actually out of the question. And if it did happen then any remaining doubt about there being a culture within the club that is set from the top, even if completely unconscious, would surely have to be dismissed.

I mean I'm pretty sanguine about the fact that we aren't a club that REQUIRES we compete at the very top on the field. Obviously I'd love us to, but I'm not going to stop following the team because we aren't about to win the league.

As for this game, It's City. The NWHL hoodoo has been broken. We aren't looking great generally and whatever players City put on the pitch will be eager to take the chance to shine. I will be pleasantly surprised to see our name in the next round.
