Not Son any more, he's lost his pace a bit and can't beat people consistently like he did. That is spot on. I would say only Son and VDV probably get in any of the other top team sides. They are fucking average.

I think you are right but why does it lead to defeats against Ipswich and Palace? Surely they should be the bread and butter matches we pick points up in.
Losing to Woolwich and Newcastle would be more of a case of 'having it too easy'.
Anyway, I don't disagree, I think we as a club just have a loser mentality which seeps onto the pitch.
It's shocking. There are elements to this club I love but bloody hell we embarrass ourselves too.
I'm with you on the idea of getting bored of sacking managers, it's why I want this to work out. I wanted Conte to work out too but fans didn't want boring football. We have more attacking football now with flaws but I'm sure that won't be enough.
Two things can be true.I get a bit pissed off with people making out he was some all seeing messiah for that outburst!
There may be some truth to it, but it was completely self-motivated with only one goal in mind so kind of makes a complete mockery of the whole thing!
Bullshit. Is the squad struggling to deal with the constant Thursday-Sunday amount of games?
I shouldn't think so. I don't think so. If we were seeing that we'd probably feel it more at the end of games and we're not feeling it at the end of games. We're finishing games strongly. We can't start games like that at this level and expect to overcome the gap that exists between us and the other teams.
Yeah fair enough mate, I completely understand those views. I'm the same, I have a season ticket too and sometimes you do just wanna give it up and wonder why it's worth the high prices we pay. The football results piss me off, you walk away from the stadium last week buzzing after a pretty good win only to lose today (didn't actually go to game today) but hopefully you get what I mean. It's the same errors, one min we have turned a corner the next we are doing the same shite and it's very frustrating.I’m just apathetic now about where we are going as a club, they’ve knocked it out of me. Had a season ticket since 2006 but every year they take the passion that bit more out of me. I was talking to the guy I go with who’s had a season ticket for even longer on the walk back to Tottenham Hale and really are thinking of calling it a day until Levy packs up. Instead we’ll save the season ticket money and pay for some posher tickets a few times a year instead until that happens. It’s just too much of a commitment.
I’ve wanted every manager we’ve had to work out, even Mourinho, but it’s increasingly obvious it doesn’t make any difference who the bloke in charge is. We are like the Geordies under Ashley. Just got to wait them out.
crème de menthe
Excellent point.I’ve mentioned this before. It’s because they have it too easy. They only have to do the bare minimum, have nice lives, get to go to a great training ground and stadium, which have done nothing but breed complacency. We’ve made it all too nice for them.
100%.
It’s actually shocking how crap we’ve been over such an extended period of time. And shocking that some fans are still stubbornly defending it and trying to ignore large periods of time completely.
They’ll point to silky attacking moves and scream ‘SEE? ANGEBALL. PROGRESS’ and ignore the multiple times in that same game where we had no defence.
Three fucking clean sheets all season, two against 10 man sides, the other at home to Everton who don’t attack away from home. And we were lucky to not concede there.
We are a bang average football team under Ange, and he is a less than average coach at PL level.
I was watching a thing with Sonny this morning and before training he was going into an oxygen tent. Fucking mollycoddled, every one of them. Get everything on a plate to be able just to rely on ability and what tactics they are given and they still can’t perform consistently. Easiest thing for a professional footballer to be now is an athlete. What all that shit doesn’t give them though is a heart and a desire to go and perform.I’ve mentioned this before. Same fight we'll show in 2 weeks when we find a way to beat Man City... Consistency is the problem! We can beat anyone and lose to anyone atmIpswich showed fight today, fight from a club that had not won a game this season, fight playing away at a club in much better form.
Whilst we showed no fight to win that game and take advantage of the weekends results, no fight to win and go top 4
We're dead patchy but so is everyone at the moment, bar Liverpool. There was a huge amount of Boos at half time.
Crowd at the stadium are starting to turn. I think ange will be gone by Christmas.
We will lose to United in the league cup, who will be revitalised under a new manager and are cup specialists in recent years.
Our PL fixtures look daunting. Fulham will give us a massive game. City will absolutely pump us. We always lose to Chelsea. Liverpool, no chance.
Now way he is here in January. The City win and Villa win bought him some time.
