Match Blood Money Cheats v Spurs - 23 Nov @ 17:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Gotta love football. First 1st 10mins it looked like we were going to get battered. But by the end of the half we deserved a 2 goal lead and it could have easily been more.
Still worried about what they could do to us in the 2nd half but whatever happens COYS.

Been here before. First 15 mins of second half massive for us. Need to be clinical when our chances do come. A brilliant first half so far. One thing so noticeable is when madders drops into that area that Udogie vacates he’s looking for a runner in behind but everyone is still coming short. There’s so much space for someone to just take off and give him an option. At times it’s so tight and we’ve been great at getting through their press but that won’t always happen.
Too many crosses coming in from the left too but they are very good on that side.

You can see there's something to the way we play worth perserving with. We're inconsistent, and prone to spectacular self destruction but there's something there potentially exquisite.
Think if you throw 100 million at the defence and another 50 million on the wing (quality not fleeced by relegation teams) and we'd be something to see
I think our fundamental problem is that when we play against attacking sides, we’re given the space to flourish. Unfortunately, defensive teams are able to shut us down and we can’t get past them.

The pattern is just too consistent.

I'm terrified because now this club makes so little sense, that now that you'd expect us to win, we might royally fuck it up.

As for the first half, apart from the opening 7 minutes, fucking sensational. With a bit better decision making we could've had another 1 or 2. Madders and Kulusevski have been brilliant, Sarr has absolutely dominated the midfield as well. As for the defence, this is the Dragusin that we thought that we bought from Genoa.
What we don't need to do is go out and play with the intention of scoring a quick one to put a nail in the coffin - but accept that the Pep talk from Pep will be similar, ie. go out, put them on the back foot and score early and get them panicking ( see Brighton for details.)
