Completely agree with this.I think the thing like most about this conversation is just it's utter lack of nuance. I've repeatedly said I'm a massive fan of Ange the bloke. If I could pick us a head coach that imbued what I want the club to 'feel' like he is it.
I'm equally clear that in it's purest iterations Angeball has not been a run away success. What we saw yesterday we have seen before and mostly against City. Adjustments in approach and the starting position of the center backs MAKES us harder to beat.
Stiffen the middle with a double pivot that has the capacity to protect the centerbacks ( and boy does Sarr have the capacity) we are better. I also saw an acknowledgement of game state, way more game management, and a willingness to break up cities play and kill the clock. IT WAS FANTASTIC. But we had 42% possession and City uniquely force this on Ange. Let's see if he will be similarly pragmatic going forward.
Definitely.I'd say that yesterday's win stemmed from the defence.
Simply because they defended as a unit, much more cohesion.
The interceptions from Davies started the ball rolling for the goals and the long pass from Dragusin was exceptional.
However, will they be able to do it over a long period? Who knows.

I disagree , the problem is when teams park the bus and don’t let us play football, it’s more the physical teams we struggle against - Ipswich and Palace spring to mind , I remember the last season at the original Lane , teams would try and park the bus but we would just steam roll them , get the early goal and their plan goes out the window, obviously it’s easier said than done but we need to be patient and just hope we can keep on improving the squad over the next few windows.sitting back against angeball means you get smacked 4-0 or 4-1
100% they would because that is just who they are mateA question to the Ange Out Mob.
Just suppose we had Pep as our coach and Spurs lost 5 games in a row.
Would you be demanding that Pep be sacked?

There definitely seems to be a pattern this season.

We had both our first Choice centre backs out against Haaland the freak!you really are a fucking moron aren't ya hahahah. yea the most embarrassing game in the clubs history is the reason we beat a city side that is on its last legs and without the best player in the world! its lost its last 5 you idiot, going on like its fresh off winning the treble. clown.
And there it is...We need to prove it against a treble winning side in their prime with no missing players.
These people are becoming memes.

I think Chelsea will be a good barometer of where we are at.We will have a clearer idea where we’re at after the NLD. We have a lot of games until then and those are not easy. So let’s see.
That’s such a dumb question.A question to the Ange Out Mob.

And Pool on the 23rd.
