Yeah, the seeding for the knock-outs will depend on where you finish.

There will be a draw for the play-off round and a draw for the RO16. So as an example 15th will get drawn either 17th or 18th and 16th place will face whoever they don't get on the other side of the bracket. And then in the RO16, 1st or 2nd will draw to see which of the winners (of 15/16/17/18) they face which will also tell them which side of the bracket they're on with the other team ending up on the other side of the bracket. Once the RO16 draw is done, the path to the final should be laid out. The finishing position will also affect who plays home/away when. 1st/2nd would play the return leg at home all the way to the final should they make it.
You are masterful at this stuff Football Chap Football Chap

What a contribution you gift us all with.

11 x 👍 who probably haven’t got a clue what you said 😂😂😂

The EL not unlike the CL will have a lot of meaningless games drive by money over spectacle.

If the "Super League" was ever come to be, we are looking at the very thing with these two competitions. Fifty percent of the games a worthless event that is just not being watched by any fans.

I still prefer the league format before the draw is made thereafter, where the top two are sometimes not decided until the final game or two.
I think the evidence of what we have seen so far is that a super league would be a complete waste of time. Loads of games and hardly any worth watching. Even the Liverpool game last night didn’t mean that much because there are so many games to catch up. Although Madrid need to get going or they are at risk. We keep hearing Liverpool are top of the league which means nothing really as it isn’t a proper league.

Very strong starting line up.

I suspect we'll need to have subs on at HT or early in 2nd half - otherwise team will be knackered v Fulham at weekend, although we'd hope to see Spence, Lankshear and maybe Romero also involved at Fulham
