Answer is, yes more than likely because wages and spenditure are to be kept to a minimum. When we win and play well (once every 5 games), the Angebois are all like

And then when we get beat or don't get a result, they all be like

That said - fuck knows what we're really supposed to do with about 4 adult players left in the squad.
like, seriously, we're going in to December now with a bench full of boot cleaners from the academy and what feels like a game every 2 days.
In many ways this is admirable and i dont think anyone wants to go back to Mourinho, Nuno, Conte football but this is why we will never have any sort of consistancy i'm afraid. Results and good football are not mutually exclusive

I saw Gray and Porro stood slap bang in the middle in front of the 2 CB's on more than one occasion last night. It’s sometimes difficult to see formations clearly when watching on tv but it did look to me as though Ange is starting to stick with the adjustment of playing the full backs wide instead of inverted which was a much needed change. So credit to him for that.
However in the final quarter of the game our midfield was being overrun and we needed to regain control. Bringing on Bergval didn’t make sense. He lost the ball almost every time he got it. I would have kept Bentancur and had Bissouma as an extra holding midfielder. And at 60 minutes not later.
Again we see him shaking his head on the sidelines instead of showing positive energy and being proactive .
However we are clearly lacking squad depth and options are limited with current injuries not helping. Even though Forster had a good game I don’t have confidence in him to be number 1 for the rest of the season and even more concerned if he gets injured . We need a quality number 2 keeper in January and a left back to cover / compete with Udogie . Ideally although less urgently another centre back too.
LOLThe sad ramblings of an exposed coward, even proceeds to call me a “bottler”, the irony of which is entirely lost on the poor sod.
To be fair that's just how people greet each other in Liverpool.I remember Napoli fans going round stabbing people when they played Liverpool.
Scumbags.
You say this like it is a bad thing.I'm of that same opinion to be honest and I will give you reasons why I believe this is the case (in no particular order):
1) His post match interviews are almost always identical when we lose. He continuously states how many chances we missed in order to kill the game yet he rarely if ever speaks about the opportunities the opposition have. It's almost as if he's oblivious to it.
2) He allows Romero to have a role in which he is chasing the ball in all areas of the pitch as if he's some sort of box to box midfielder.
3) His absolute disregard at defending set pieces. I don't care about what he comes out with now...his atrocious comments last season about it and then him doubling down on those comments proves what he genuinely thinks.
4) His initial insistence on us playing with 2 attacking midfielders with only 1 designated DM in a formation where the defence is already exposed with a high line was insane.
Of course he doesn't want us to concede but I don't think he particularly cares that much about it as long as he Is seeing attacking fluidity and goals.
Edit
journalist : "great entertainment is the priority over of the next 3 games going to be winning over artistic merit and making sure you finish above the dotted line?"
Ange : "no, why can't it just be entertaining? would you really prefer us to sketch out a couple of 0-0 draws and 1-0 wins"
says it all.
Maybe he doesn't know what he wants the team to be.another contradiction from the idiot. when he first came, the wally on spurstv was interviewing him about a pre season game which we drew or lost and said the result doesnt matter and the performance was good or something along them lines. the neanderthal snapped back saying "results always matter".
he really does have an absolute catalogue now of making himself look a contradicting fool with the press.
if mourinho or conte were saying the shit this idiot says then people would say they are actively trying to get sacked.

Postecoglou in stern 'results always matter' response after Spurs friendly loss
Ange Postecoglou refused to ignore the result after the pre-season friendly loss to West Ham.www.glasgowtimes.co.uk
funny how results are only important when it suits him i.e city games that hand the scum a huge chance of a title. results are important then arent they. fucking mug.
so hes not the winner that we should all be so lucky to have, hes just some mug that wants to entertain neutrals.
Are you the only dude in the world who doesn’t know the fight was rigged? Tyson went from a beast in sparring to an aged man who couldn’t chuck a punch.Yeah, and Mike Tyson was the baddest man on the planet.
Just not when Jake Paul beat him up.
This weekend, City will likely lose at Liverpool.
Brighton will beat Southampton and leapfrog them.
Arse will probably beat Spam and leapfrog them.
Chelsea will probably beat Villa and also leapfrog them.
All of a sudden, City aren't still 2nd. They're on a 4 game losing streak that has seen them drop to 5th and 11 points behind the league leaders.
City are done this season. When they lose this weekend, which they will, they're out of the title race altogether already. The only way they'd catch Liverpool would be if the entire Liverpool squad met an unfortunate end.
And even then i still think it would be Chelsea or Woolwich that would catch them, not City who have do defence or midfield.
Last night they played a team that were motivated, on Sunday they played a terrible City side. If the latter carries on the way they are, they'll drop out of the top 6 this season. They were walking around the pitch half the time.Maybe he doesn't know what he wants the team to be.
As we saw against City the team defended well, but last night they couldn't stop a fight in a nursery.
Woefully inconsistent but, it does seem after a good result they follow it up with a bad one, it's the funniest thing from a Spurs team I have seen for years.
You couldn't bet on spurs because although you know they are flaky, you just don't know when they have a flaky day off.
Are you the only dude in the world who doesn’t know the fight was rigged? Tyson went from a beast in sparring to an aged man who couldn’t chuck a punch.Tyson earnt 20 million and JP $200k. The agreement was Tyson wasn’t allow to hurt to him. Look it up. Great analogy.
And I still think we’ll finish within top 5 or better.
not sure if its a case of him not knowing what he wants the team to be. i think he doesnt know hes doing and is just trying to wing it. he doesnt have a choice but to try and wing it does he? shouldnt be anywhere near this level and hes getting embarrassed.Maybe he doesn't know what he wants the team to be.

Good for him and i'd rather win 5-4 than 1-0 but you will never have consistancy that way. We tried that before with Ossie Ardiles. Bielsa also tried it in the premier league, its too strong a league with a lot of savvy managers for it to work the majority of weeks.

I remember fondly those heady days of consistency under Conte and Mourinho
We have always had - and still have - a 4th to 6th place level squad. We all know this. The football under Ange is levels more entertaining than it has been since Poch. We all know this too.
All their big chances rest of it is just froth and bluster.
He says really odd things that are quite frankly both hypocritical and baffling. You say this like it is a bad thing.
Ange wants us to score more goals than the other team.
I like that.
He says really odd things that are quite frankly both hypocritical and baffling.
He's said numerous times that his main objective is to instill a winning mentality, how winning is the priority, that winning is what matters.
Now when he's asked a question directly about winning he focuses more on the style aspect and makes winning the secondary objective. He says he'd rather we are fun to watch and "exciting" rather then scrapping 1-0 wins. Yesterday we were deemed to be "exciting" but we drew, is that better then a dull 1-0 win with a Sonny pen being the winning goal for him?
yep. this idiot thinks he can build a winning mentality by..wait for it.....not winning!! or is that whole building a winning culture scrapped now for end to end neanderthal football that excites neutrals that tune in?He says really odd things that are quite frankly both hypocritical and baffling.

oh wow that's an incredible post.Yes.
We were playing with 4 reserves out of 5 in defence.
We could have scored 3 more goals.
Yet Poch was more entertaining, more consistent and actually came close to achieving something.
So really, all we are now is as inconsistent and meh as any coach has been since Poch.
