I'd like to think that people can rehabilitate themselves for saying these sorts of things if they show contrition and make a public apology. I don't know if 1882 has a path back on here but it's at least something worth considering- I will say that sometimes people do have actual mental health issues which make it difficult to not say crazy things, and sometimes are in states where they are not in a sound manner of mind.

Really unfortunate either way- we really are the sum of the thoughts in our heads, and I genuinely feel sad for people who live with such awful thoughts in their minds.

Leaving a pen and paper password around physically unsecured is probably the dumbest way to go about it. No one ever went broke betting against the stupidity of most people, though.

Most other clubs are pretty up front. They want to win the league. They want to qualify for Europe. They want to stay up.

We've been pretending for 20 years that we want to be in the elite but we don't.

Definitely- it's obvious Levy is trying to angle it how he can so that Richy comes back to recoup some xfer value before getting rid of in the summer. I'm not sure that is going to happen though, and feel like we are about to eat a big D over Richy's exit.

Only because players ahead of them have also been injured.

The stats I was discussing were based on the number of days a team has lost through injury. And most of our days were made up of players who at the time would have been on the bench for the large part.
Going forward the stats will change.

You can't compare us having 19 year old Odobert, a signing from thr championship who wasn't for the now out for say 100 days, but City losing Rodri, the best player in the world out for say 50 days.
That's the problem with the stat that showed we  had the wordt injuries. We didn't. As at the time of those stats the likes of Vicario, Solanke and maybe Romero we're out.

He was right, but he also behaved in a manner that was deleterious to the club and the form, both footballing and mental, of the players. He should have just straight up resigned and then given that press conference- did not need to leave it to rot.

Meanwhile, fuck Levy for being so cheap and to not fire him outright and letting it get to that point.

I've missed all this, and just from your post, think it's a real shame if he has been banned/felt like he needs to step away.
I love his style and sense of humour and although he sometimes pushed the boundaries, there was no malice about him.
I know he felt that West Ham and Chelsea fans got away with blatant anti semitism.
I personally think he's a lovely guy and hope he comes back. As you say, he'll be a big loss to this forum.
