Agree. But to be fair to Ange (and I know most don't want to be right now :D ) he was left short in Summer and now has a genuine crisis on his hands which is only going to be exacerbated by the schedule this month.

I am resigned to us crashing out of the League Cup and EFL now. We'd need a full squad to compete with the schedule and we just don't.
He said he was happy with the squad! Unless he is a liar! Should have kept alfie and donley who could have done a job at LB. I’m sure Alfie is just as good as gray and berg.

The difference I see when we are playing the M City's and then lesser teams like Fulham is bravery on the ball , we play with no fear against the better sides yet lack real heart and desire when we play a team that we are expected to be better than . I see it constantly where like today the players lack the bravery to play between the lines or take players on , and seem to lack the desire to run hard , especially in transitions .
Is it purely a players mentality thing ? I don't know . Surely the coaching staff see this and are telling players where they are lacking .
One of the interesting things for me is when you look at the table and look at the form line , everybody bar Liverpool is playing very inconsistently , no one is stringing wins together bar Liverpool .

Well, called it right again in a Sunday match after the El Thursday Nightio.
Last one was Ipswich, got that right too.
Said I'd be ecstatic with a win and happy with a point
And fuck me lucky to get that too.
Ange bossed by a kid last time out at WHL. McKenna.
And again by the Uber reject Silva.
He's being made to look like a complete amateur, time and time again. He's not up to the job.

He's exhausted half the squad with this high energy stuff which is great if you've got the squad. But he hasn't. So it's on him to MANAGE IT AS HES THE MANAGER. This is what everyone was laughing at ETH for at MU.

Team selection again bad. Son at 9? Really? He's been so poor recently.
No Spence? Why not? The team's knackered and you won't select fresh players?

Forster saved his sorry arse, MOTM imo.

If he got sacked tomorrow and a good manager announced I'd be happy with that. Last 40 matches, mid table, no better. And that's just not good enough with the players he's got and the investment he's had.

Indeed, but perhaps if Dr Levy provided a decent squad and not one full of kids then maybe we can compete more than once a week or maybe if we good rid of likes of Richy and replaced him with someone reliable we could rest out players when we need to.
Think Ange got it wrong bringing two kids in bergvail and gray on together as well, in fact think he got most subs wrong today again.

By all accounts, a move to Saudi was arranged for Richy in the summer but he refused to go. Club knows his body can't hack it, but he wanted to stay and fight for his place. I expect this is driven more by his desire to get back into the Brazil squad than his love of Spurs.

I expect this is yet another big money transfer we are going to lose significant $$$ on.

Still, it's not panic stations yet. The difference between 12th place and 2nd place is just 6 points. We certainly aren't in the title race, but for sure a top 4 finish is there.

We certainly missed Big Doms guile, strength, workrate and awareness to bring players around him into the game.
He is the one player we cant replace with whats available and got to be addressed asap.
Although Big Fraser had great game, the players were very reluctant to use him to feet which was obviously as instructed, and Silva had them pressing knowing this too.
Kudos to Silva on getting best out of what hes got and executing a good game plan.

The only one for me who talks sense is Richard cracknell. If that Lee is on it I don’t listen at all,he constantly butts into people talking whilst bragging about his stats in his stupid blue book, clown.
Ricky talks too much, laughs for no reason & like a madman with his squeaky voice. And man he annoys me how he bigs up his shit and his guests...as if Ricky Norwood & TJ Rahmini were genuinely world class actors?!

Lee is awful, brings nothing to the table. Same with Darren Hartman...he actually said the other day it's okay guys we didn't lose, draws are great. Guy just wants to be Mr Positive.

Pat Tyrant is the most arrogant motherfucker out there. Petulant manchild just doesn't accept criticism but when it's he doing the bashing, that's alright. Proper mug.

Matty Hayes is the worst, with that Jamie from the Daily Hotspur not far behind. They don't even go to games and that bellend MH even admitted to not watching matches in full on the telly! But dude talks like he knows it all.

Crackers is alright, tends to go on a bit but he's a likeable fella and he knows his stuff.

Best one - by far - is Jason McGovern. The old dog knows the club and its history inside out, he reads all the books from ex Spurs etc. Proper passionate guy buy always fairly controlled and balanced. Witty chap too.

Not sure why Ange has defenders remaining, honestly. We are inconsistent at best and often poor as we were today. The selection is poor, the team is in the same place it was when he took over the club - no improvement at all. A generic replacement football manager could do all the things he’s done.

Beating a City team that’s in disarray doesn’t and didn’t change or prove a thing. He is what he is and thats is not good enough.

Ricarlison was a terrible signing by Conte. He only stuck around with us as still harbours playing for brazil. Read recently were going to release him in the summer.

Ange doesn't fill the players with confidence by the looks of it . When we get outplayed they know what time it is, trust me.

Matter of time before they down tools. Recruiting mid table players, you'll get that. Club in the mud from top to bottom.

Yeah I think you're spot on there, with the mentality issue. Kulu's recent remarks on the training were on the same lines. The players are way more up for it against City than they are against Fulham, or Palace.

It's true it's the manager's job to sort out the mentality. The players are responsible too though. Then there's also the argument that culture is bred from the top, through the resources made available and (bad) decisions, and Levy runs the club for profit. Ultimately then, it's a deep rooted problem.

Sadly it's unlikely the direction of the club will change and I suspect the best any manager can do is come in and temporarily change the mentality of the players. Eventually that energy runs out. Rednapp felt it, Poch felt it, obviously Jose and Conte felt it.

Fulham had fresh legs ,rested FOR 8 DAYS! they previously played on 23 November vs Wolves), while our "legs" were tired ,because were just 2 days and half for recovery (thursday, 2-2 vs AS Roma)
Absolutely, how come no one else thought of this obvious fact?! At last someone talking sense in this flippin forum, the draw yesterday was excellent result, feels better than 3 points. Thank you for your valuable contribution.

I am really surprised our fans STILL get upset after a poor result. I am so relaxed nowadays watching us play, win lose draw I am happy as Larry.

Spoke to 1882 1882 .

He wanted to apologise unreservedly to the forum. In particular reprobate reprobate Go on son and skywalker68 and anyone else that was compelled to reply.

No excuses, but in a nutshell fell off the wagon in spectacular style. His Jewish roots and upbringing have made him 'somewhat bitter' on the Jewish thing being used against Spurs.

As I said yesterday I will just add that 1882 1882 is lovely bloke in real life and you will not find a single TFC poster who has met him that would say otherwise.

We all make mistakes. Some unfortunately are in the public domain. Shame he has been cancelled for one mistake but that's modern life.

I for one would welcome him back.
