Not sure how a manager that is five points off second spot, has the second best goal difference, in the quarters of the League Cup, and in ok position to qualify in top 8 for Europa League, all while having a rebuilding team with the third average youngest age, while beset with injuries has such a large portion of this forum looking to hang him.

Sure he’s had issues, especially with consistency, this year but not worthy of being fired. Could easily see a leap in the new year

I mean, we're also 5 points from being 15th

The glass is half full is it?
The point is that "we're 5 points off 2nd" doesn't mean much of anything. We're 5 points from our aspirations on 1st December, but we're also just about that far from the relegation strugglers.

No one with a brain knocking around in their head thinks this team will finish anywhere near 2nd. So what's the middle of the table logjam prove about Ange? The results are the same as they were under every manager since Poch.

Tbh i think Ange had the plan of intergrating the young signings slowly but surely through europa league gaining experience.. Hasnt panned out as planned. Bergvall was the sacrificial lamb when dragusin got sent off for qarabag. Felt sorry for bergvall that night. Odobert looked good but got injured. Do think hes a talent. Weve been unlucky but starting to think were cursed. Tbh romero lapses in concentration cost us earlier in season.
Whatever the curse is, it isn't happening for the manager here sadly, looks like another ticking time bomb.

i think the trouble is we who want him out are watching different matches to those that want to keep,
I see us giving up lots of goal scoring chances (luckierly they are shotting wide & high)
i see us midfielders who can't turn with the ball
i see players not being played to their strength (Johnson good a running & hitting a shot needs early ball, but the manager plays him as winger in slow build up)
I see us playing the ball between CH's (any of the 4 we have) to draw players on to them, who then have to hit a pass to open up play ( BUT none of our CH's can see a pass that is why they delay and keep looking)

I've only been a Spurs supporter since Ange was appointed, before that I didn't support any team.
But now, I'll continue to support Spurs even if Ange is sacked.

I don't swap sides once I pick one.

I guess it all boils down to whether you are optimistic or pessimistic.
Personally, I think the brand of football Ange has instilled is great.
If we can get a few players back from injury, and maybe get 2 or 3 strategic signings in the winter window, I think Spurs can really go somewhere with this manager.

I'm still optimistic that the 9 December games will be 5W 2D & 2L

The old analogy... is the glass half full or half empty.

Agree but a complete meltdown over The next month wouldn’t surprise me either. Our squad is fucked, layer over the fixture pile up and I can see a really rough run.

I still wouldn’t sack him unless he gives up tbh - he’s been completely stitched up by just signing Solanke in the summer and a few sixth formers for 70 fucking million (which I’m sure weren’t in his top 10 of new players)

Tell me you are new to Spurs without telling me 😅

Injuries happen, we didn’t strengthen the squad adequately enough before the season started when we knew we could play 69 games.

There is no way this chairman will sanction up to three starting quality players (which you could argue we need) in the next window. Maybe a couple of squad players.

The overall brand of football is better, yes. But this is a results business.

One way or the other a decision needs to be made on AP's future at the club before January. There are mitigating circumstances to some of our poor results but it's a managers job to adjust when curve ball's are thrown at you, he can't! It's the same old rhetoric and style because that's who we are mate and I've had success with it where ever I've been!

Bring someone new in now, before the terraces start to turn against everything they are witnessing is happening to their club. Give the new guy 2 transfer windows, 30+ games before the end of the season and a full pre-season.

I keep saying this, but if you believe like me Ange would not secure another position in the EPL, why the fuck is he still with us?

I'm starting to grasp everyone's hatred of ENIC & Levy and their lack of buying top notch players, BUT...if it's a result based business, why is the majority on here so negative about 2 draws?

Imagine if we'd had six losses in a row like Citeh?

Barring more injuries, I still think this team & manager can succeed.

on what are you basing "manager can succeed" ?
we had almost full team against Palace & Ipswich leicester,
we had lots of the ball but failed to win, against City we had little of the ball so played counter football and scored 3 goals via quick breaks ( most of our goals come from quick breaks ie Conte style not ange ball lots of possession)

Ange will be here in January. If you think a midseason reboot is on the table, when our Club is still in contention for 3 cups and possibly a Europe spot, then you will be disappointed.

he is with us because he put 3 goals on ten haag, 4 on emery ,4 on pep, and knocked city out of the cup ,plays entertaining front foot football not gutless boring crap like other managers.

Of course I'm gonna disagree and you have only listed the games where he came out on top and failed to acknowledge Palace, Ipswich, Fulham, Roma etc. If you find Ange-Ball exciting because most of the time it's like a basketball game, ok! But for me I like/need to see a bit more "finesse" nouse and control when watching Spurs and this bloke is incapable of supplying that imo.
Opinions! I'm sure there's a big camp of Ange In. I'm in the other camp.

they have scored more goals without kane because of Ange ,conte would be sitting in a 5-4-1 deep block and defending like a team in a relegation battle.
Make your mind up a post ago we only scored goals because we had Kane. Lol. Yeah I remember how terrible it was beating Woolwich 3 nil. You remember the Woolwich you claim we couldn't compete with. Ange doesn't even understand way we care about losing to them. Nice try, now its just about the style of football. Tell me about how exciting Fulham was a again this is another canard the football under Ange is always watchable.
