Match ***Bournemouth v Spurs - 8.15pm Thurs 5th December (Amazon Prime)***

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Levy has pulled the trigger in better positions because he could afford to do it, he doesn't have the luxury now and quite frankly he hasn't backed a manager this much since ever, nor has he had a manager bat for him and the board and put all the blame on his shoulders and not point fingers at the board.

The circumstances are entirely different.
If the crowd turn on Levy, which let's face it will happen if we don't get a result tomorrow and are getting battered by Chelsea, then Ange is gone... whether that is right or not is up for debate. Personally, I don't care... I am totally apathetic towards Ange. If he stays, great. If he gets sacked.. so be it..

youre gonna have a disappointing Christmas, because he'll still be here
I'm gonna have a fantastic Xmas... I really don't care if he stays or goes... totally apathetic towards him... this isn't necessary what I want to happen, this is what I think will happen. Might be wrong through... Fans might be okay with slipping into the bottom half of the table below the might of Brentford, Fulham, Forest and dare I say it Bournemouth if they turn us over tomorrow. My experience of our fans is that it will get very toxic towards Levy very quickly and when that happens, he doesn't hang about...

it’s a weird one, we are 5 points off second. Finish the job against Brighton and beat Leicester rather than draw and we’re 2nd - it has been fine margins.

Levy never usually pulls the trigger until CL qualification is a pipe dream - we are still well in contention for that as things stand.

I would be amazed if Ange wasn’t here for the Boxing Day game - but could see him gone early Jan if it all goes tits up

The big problem this time though is who does he bring in? Failed Chelsea manager Potter? - I’ve seen that movie before.

Would Iraola jump ship mid season? Doesn’t strike me as the sort.

Silva would, but I’m not at all convinced by him.

We couldn’t convince Slot when we had our chance, we aren’t going to convince Alonso.

Allegri is available and Paratici could possibly influence it - but that could be Conte all over again.

Who do we get?

Think we would be better off holding until the summer, maybe Mason for a few weeks if it’s really bad at the end and then pushing for Iraola in the summer - I think he might jump at that point.

We will see - again you're comparing this situation with the others, it's a false equivalence.

Forster
Spence Dragusin Davies Udogie
Gray Bissouma Maddison
Kulusevski Solanke Johnson

This is not my prediction but actually the line up I want to see. Son is not playing well and I think coming off the bench might suit him. Johnson gets the nod over werner on the left. I think now is the time to give Gray some minutes in midfield - lets see what he's got! We need to keep some players fresh for Chelsea and the idea of rotating out Porro, Sarr and Son without weakening the team sounds like the best approach to me! We need to win both these games to get all the fans back on side.

Not to derail a match thread but there really aren't that many big name managers available right now.

The biggest free name is Ten Hag. And would we really go for him after how his United stint fizzled out?

There's Conceicao who left Porto in the summer. But he'd get a lot of the same question marks as Ange from certain members of the fandom and media for not having worked in the Prem. He's also a massive hothead who likes picking fights with referees. But he built a super strong Porto side to his credit.

If we go with the same front three tomorrow we lose. Solanke is vital for us. We have zero presence if he doesn’t play and easy for defenders to get settled in the game.

One of those games where I couldn’t confidently pick a result. Bournemouth are a good watch but you get chances against them. If clinical Tottenham turn up then we’ll win by a few but if the Palace Tottenham turn up then it’s a guaranteed defeat.

I’ll go for 1-1🤣

Can’t see a win. We are mega unpredictable so it obviously could happen before some thick cunt jumps on this .. but they are confident, we suck away as well.

They will want it more I think and they have the quality to make it count. Could be Palace MK 2 but against better opposition.

They would go above us with a win BTW.

I agree with this. I'm not "apathetic" to Postecoglou - I think his football has a very high ceiling but also a low floor and he didn't get enough points when playing well early in the season. So... c'est la vie when you get ravaged by injuries. 🤷‍♂️

I am apathetic towards a fan base that thinks sacking managers is a panacea. Should Postecoglou get sacked all that will happen is we'll appoint a new manager (say, Iraola if he's stupid enough to come here) in January and results will improve. But this will coincide with our players returning from injury so it will be a false dawn.

The only way it works is if the new manager gets 3 first 11 players in the Summer AND Gray/Bergvall/Vuscovic etc all deliver early on their "potential".

Poch was a manager who got the squad to better than its parts so we all dream of that BUT Poch also had the best striker in the world fall into his lap. It's VERY hard to replicate.

If we lose to Bournemouth and Chelsea I want Ange the fuck out of here.

Not good enough.

He messed up in the window.

Where is Romero? When are Argentina playing again?
