When we sack Ange and fail with the next guy and the next one , I shall take comfort in that we failed the right way . Thank goodness Joe Lewis is a wonderful philanthropist with an untarnished reputation, otherwise being a club that is a laughing stock would be difficult to take.

Transfers can be written off against the length of the contract , so £60 Million transfer over 6 years only costs the club £10 million a year , its the fact that we aren't competing with wages that means we can't go for the top calibre of players , I'm not actually against some of the transfers we have made with an eye to the future ie Gray and Bergvail but our Squad is lacking experienced leaders, it could all be speculation but apparently the reason we didn't pull the trigger on Players like Eze , Neto or Gallagher were wouldn't pay what they wanted in wages.

Now you mention Timo being on a good wage, that is true but he is also a free transfer , so it was either a choice of a £60 million players that would cost £10 million a year plus wages or a player that was free and just paying for his wages, and guess what we done we went for Timo who no other club would even entertain as lets be honest he is not good enough!
We have also got rid of players like Kane and Hugo in the last few years who have reduced our wage bill significantly and replaced them with players on cheaper wages so from the outside one would say their is a plan to significantly reduce our wage bill all while our income goes up , what kind of club seriously competing would do that? Surely it should be the ither way round? If you just look at the few of the deals below -

Kane Wages £200K per week replaced by Solanke £90K per week. = £110K savings per week
Lloris wages £200k per week replaced by Vicario. £75K per Week = £125K savings per week
Perisic Wages £180K per week Replaced by Johnson £70K per Week = £110K saving per week
Ndombele Wages £200K per week replaced by no one

Thats over £500K a week we are saving on wages, why are we cutting back so much on wages when we could actually afford to pay more than we could a few years ago as our revenue has increased?

It’s because they’ve realised they can still make money and grow the value of the club while running it on a low budget. Tourists keep coming and spending hundreds in the shop every match, season ticket sales are high. They know they don’t have to do anything to increase the value of the asset, it just keeps growing. I call it asset as that’s how they see it, it isn’t a football club anymore.

I do think there’s a tipping point and the whole charade could start to unravel

Feels like that to me now tbh. Bald little ghoul
For virtually my whole life a Spurs defeat would absolutely wreck my weekend. I'd be in a foul mood for days and Joan would say I was a proper miserable shit to live with.

That's now gone. I feel a mild displeasure, let off a bit of steam on here, and then I'm back to being a wonderful husband within a few hours or so.

I hate that Levy has taken that away from me.

Sick Burn GIF by MOODMAN

I have a hard time believing he really said that?

The chant at every home game now (whether we rate the manager or not) is “Ange in, Levy out”.

If he sacks Ange the optics in the media will be bad for him. Fans backed the manager yet levy still sacked him.

They won’t - he gets away with it every time. Teflon
Know what you mean mate - feels like we are in a fucking asylum with the biggest lunatic running things…

However, I’m going with the ‘Levy Out’ chant tomorrow. If nothing else it’ll make us feel better and you never know….it might catch on (I know, I know but I really don’t know where else we fans go from here other than a boycott)

Levy is not awful like a lot of clueless PL owners have been so he doesn’t get loads of flak in general but most true Spurs fans see through his incompetence now
