Hmm not sureI don’t know who is/was worse, the Jose fanboys we had when he was manager or the Ange fanboys.
I genuinely think if Ange set up an OnlyFans some of you lot would sub.
At least Jose could point to an amazing CV. The truculent Aussie simply has not earned any adoration yet.I don’t know who is/was worse, the Jose fanboys we had when he was manager or the Ange fanboys.

“Only Ange - Mate”I don’t know who is/was worse, the Jose fanboys we had when he was manager or the Ange fanboys.

I do think there's a considerable number of people (not on this board) who still are very much taken with his personality and the style of play. Go back to the first ten games of last season and people were already talking about him in terms of already being one of the league's top managers. I still think he is very popular and has the backing of most Spurs fans. I'm not sold on him, but I'm also not anxious to see a decision made about him until after this season at the earliest. Maybe now that he's acknowledged this is a full rebuild people will look at him and the project more realistically and things will calm down a bit.
To addI think my biggest concern with Ange is his tactical stubbornness, especially with the full-backs. Pushing them so high and so central makes it much harder for us to play, it just isn't worth it at the moment. It's destroying our players legs to have to make huge recovery runs every time we give the ball away in the middle of the pitch.
Of course he has his own idea of football and he sticks to it, every successful manager does that. But when you're 60 years old and your ideas are not surviving contact with their first exposure to the elite level, you have to adjust.
We have players that look best playing on the break and attacking space. That is not new to Ange, that was also the case under Conte and Mou. We have always been a top counter-attacking side with Son in the team. When we aren't given the opportunity to counter-attack, I'm not sure that Ange's tactics actually work. In fact I'm almost certain they don't.
Levy doesn't give a shit about the Carabao cup. Sacking Jose the week before that final should give us all that idea.I just have a feeling he’s going no where till the carabao and Europa league picture is clearer.
Which gives a potentially awful situation of going out of both with him, Levy sacking him, and then is just chugging our way through the rest of the season either with him, or with someone new and with absolutely nothing to play for. This squad with nothing to play for will make the mentality even worse.
He's not quite dynamic enough to make stuff happen all by himself, but he can be the best target man anyone on our team has or ever will play with. He will score on an open net. He will pass unselfishly to you. He will do all the nasty takedown work and holdup play against thuggish CBs you could ever want. He presses like a monster, and he will run the channels for you too.
I question peoples understanding of football who are worried about Solanke's value to our squad. It should be rather obvious, especially compared to the alternatives and their relative costs in the league.
To add
1 Generally seems to lack in-game adaptation (swapping players, tactics, subs, etc.,)
2 Demeanour - immobile on the touchline, hands in pockets, head down etc. If I'm a player looking for inspiration I am not inspired by that
Yeah unless results are catastrophic I can’t see us sacking him either.I just have a feeling he’s going no where till the carabao and Europa league picture is clearer.

I know it felt like Jose was coming to his inevitable exit, a week before a cup final was madness
Jose should have gone much earlier, february time probably. The week before the final was not the one though. I’m sure he’d have got us over the line.Levy doesn't give a shit about the Carabao cup. Sacking Jose the week before that final should give us all that idea.

There is no context to what he did at Celtic. Every manager does the same. It’s strange how his record there seems to be used as a badge of honour but no so for Brent or Neil Lennon or anyone of the other managers who have won a hatful of trophies there. His ‘achievements’ there the media make out as if it was some sort of spectacular thing! What he did with Celtic has to be taken into the context of, at the time they were the best team anyway.
We have an average top ten team.
would just be awful pictures of him in a push up bra!I don’t know who is/was worse, the Jose fanboys we had when he was manager or the Ange fanboys.

Not sure how the timing gives credence to the cup bonus thing.Jose should have gone much earlier, february time probably. The week before the final was not the one though. I’m sure he’d have got us over the line.
It give credence to the “Jose cup bonus” comments and Levy being tight.
