The odd high that actually results in the square root of fuck all?

Each to their own I guess. For me Sport is about winning. Without winning there’s no jeopardy. Under Levy we know that winning won’t happen.

So with the relegation then, is it because you feel if we get relegated we can get back to winning things with a different owner? And winning what in that case, the championship and being promoted back to the prem?

Key is, me and you both want the same thing overall. I just personally don’t think relegation fixes the issue and would be much worse than it is currently.

***Edit - I worded this badly, what I’m asking is, hypothetically for you then. Let’s say we got relegated, and then we won the championship, would that be better for you than where we are currently?.

Or for you does it simply come down to, the relegation would hopefully mean new owners, so reagrdless of them winning the lower league, the simple fact is we should/could then be in a better place by virtue of having new owners, even if we’re in a lower league?

1. Absolutely.

2. The whole deal in this hypothetical situation is that if we go through the humiliation of getting relegated, then our end of the bargain is we get new owners who actually have some ambition and more importantly, the means to win things.

Ok fair enough, this makes sense.

As I say, overall, we both want the same thing which is new owners and success for our football club. We just differ in the details is all, but I totally get where you’re coming from.

Yeah i have no doubt we want the same thing mate.

And don't worry, we almost certainly aren't getting relegated. Probably more chance of us getting relegated than winning the prem but neither of them are happening any time soon.

There is no escaping it anymore. The same pattern just happens over and over again.

As long as there is enough Premier League TV money coming in, Levy and ENIC aren't going anywhere and we will be doing the same shit.

I can only speak for myself but supporting this club has nothing to do with playing in the Premier League. If I'm honest I have grown to hate this competition. I genuinely think I'd enjoy football more if we were a championship club that played 8 academy kids who actually cared.

If it meant we needed to get relegated and lose the Premier League TV money to get a fresh start and change of culture at the club, would you still support this club in the Championship?
I’m so confused , so now we do want to do a Leeds

An old thread....but now relevent.... but a big NO ..... we just would not get back up...simple

Yes , anything for some kind of change.
I don't really care about the money spent or not spent, I just can't take the errors with coaches , Directors of football, players. How many re-set are we going to have.
again very current.... most of those players facing Chelsea are not good enough for Spurs..... why is it Brentford ...Bournemouth ...Brighton...can buy unkown players and they look the part..... we need to understand Enic dont care if the team is successfull or not as long as we dont go down....the money will keep rolling in.... remember they are mostly Jewish and do not like risk....its just the way they are.

In recent years Spurs have flirted with success ... close title challenge maybe... lost a cup final....champs league finalists...lost.... the best chance we had of a sustained atempt at winning something was when we had Poch as head coach ..
but he went to Levy and asked for a serious investment to try to put Spurs up at the top, challenging for titles and cups....on a regular basis or at least for about 5 or 6 years...but Levy could not allow himself to let go of the reins and go for it....cause lets be honest there is no guarantee of success buy spending loads of money that would have to be borrowed.....so Poch had to leave because the club did not match his ambitions for the club..... if my memory serves me right Blackburn were the first team to buy the League title... and they only signed Shearer.....
In my opinion there needs to be a complete overhaul at the club starting at acadamy level right up to recruitment, there is something wrong in how we opperate.
I have been saying for 2 years that we should have bought Mitoma and slowly replaced Son....that boy is a natural replacement for our Sony..... and I know nothing about football...but its what I see week in week out....
