Since we are on the subject of his embarassing moments. Remember at Brighton away also, when he said he didn't make any subs because he wanted the team to suffer....and he doesn't believe in winning by playing badly. He's rather lose.

He's a fraud bullshit merchant.
yep! hes had so many you actually forget some as they get replaced with next new bit of bullshit.

its funny how winning is only important when its against city and it gives the scum a huge chance of a title isnt it?

its contradiction after contradiction and its all waffle to try and mask how shit he actually is. it fools a lot so you can see why hes actually ended up here. hes a very good con man.

Over the last twelve months we are 13th in the table.

I wasn't wrong with my bet with Ted Hughes, I was just slightly early...
Mate all that stats are appalling.

The worst first 15 games of a season by a Spurs manager since 2008.

The worst results in a calender year since 2008 and Ramos.

Played Woolwich and Chelsea at home 4 times and lost all 4 conceding 12 in the process.

Lost 4 of our last 9 home league games.

1 win in our last 7 in all competitions.

But yeah, just give him more time and all will be fine.

Bollix narrative this IMO. Not having a good enough squad to rotate is the problem. Give me the injuries that were caused by Ange's style? All had their own individual twist.

The problem is injuries lead to more injuries because you cannot rotate. Look at Ben Davies for example. Due to both our centre backs being out, we were left with no choice but to start Ben Davies every game. Remember he played 2 games for Wales during the international break before playing all the games for us on return. City, Roma, Fulham, Bournemouth. 6 games within 3 weeks, with no rest and he eventually picked up an injury. It was inevitable that he would breakdown eventually if we did not rest him but we'd no other options.

Thats why teams tend to have write off seasons once they experience a bad injury crisis (City this season, Liverpool 20/21). Once you lose 5 or 6 players and have a busy schedule then you are screwed as cannot rotate at all and its inevitable the injury crisis will just keep getting worse. Its awful timing really, an international break would be very welcome but there is none until March!
We’re bottom half in the form table since last November. We’re suffering from far more than just injuries

We can point the finger at Ange, just like we did with Poch, conte, Mourinho, all of them

It changes nothing and we’ll be here again in 18 months calling for the head of whatever poor sod is in charge

Our anger needs to be directed at the true villains that have been holding us back for 25 years
I'll never undertand how people can think the Poch years were the same as the Mourinho years.

they clearly were not.

the last 25 years can't be treated like they were all the same some seasons were good some were bad.

It’s a small hope.

We have no hope in the prem
We have no hope. We're on a slippery slope now. There's no recover. No turn in form. No shock cup win. He's finished.
In all fairness ; and I’m not trying to be funny here ; those kind of managers who can actually achieve things against prevailing forces and bigger , monied clubs ; would be ideal for a Club like ours . David Pleat and Harry Redknapp were a very good fit for us .
Ange is not that though. He's won things in leagues that have no history or pecking order. And Celtic. He's achieved nothing special, nor has he ever even held a position particularly long. People say give him time. To do what? Most of his jobs bar Australia were 1-3 years.
I remember i voiced my initial doubts about Ange after the Chelsea game last season where he played the amateur high line with 9 men (and eric dier in defence) but the responses to it on here and in the media generally were so positive it made me think I was just being too harsh.

His style of play requires no actual thought process. He's made me fall out of love with watching us because I'm almost certain any Tom Dick and Harry from the street can 'coach' the team to play the exact same way and I see absolutely no skill to it. You attack...OK our turn to attack...OK mate your turn now...ours again.

with a bit of luck we can still do something in the cups so please Spurs don't leave it to late.
I said and stuck to it, that Liverpool with 9 men very nearly got something from us. We got beat 4-1 and only because Vicario kept cutting their breaks out. A half decent in form forward for them that day and it would have been a cricket score.

Your opinion i respect. But imo i think hes burning players out. Had it last season. Lack of balance in his tactics. Its not working.

might as well let him ruin the season though aint we? theres no one out there is there!

if we actually did stick with this clown we would be in trouble the following year even with a new manager, the damage would be hard to fix for a while.

Ok, but playing devils advocate..

Could VDV or Romero have possibly spent less time injured if Ange made use of Dragusin when they were both fit? The bloke only really came in when they were both injured?

Could he avoid injuries to Porro by allowing Spence on the pitch?

Or is it just simply that you feel those players for example are just that bad that they aren’t of the required quality to rotate?

It’s not helpful in regards to injuries for players like VDV when your tactics appear to amount to “play up on the half way line, and if they get through us, Micky will sprint after them”.

I do. He’s a thin skinned surly halfwit who can’t take criticism. He’s come unstuck in the big league and is lashing out at all and sundry. Speaks volumes to how fragile the man’s ego is.

And his in game management sucks the big one.
I don't understand why people keep feeling the need to say he's a good bloke when all of his actions show otherwise.

But then I remember some people like James Corden and think he's a good person as well and it all starts to make sense.

Think its going to take a while anyway, its why they should crack on straight away with the change. Half the players have injuries, they've had all defensive sense coached out of them, also low on confidence and look pretty unmotivated. The way they were just walking through us today from about 20 mins in was just staggering.

Yep, we lost game after game last season particularly towards the end, getting battered by Newcastle, Liverpool etc, and then when we faced City and had the chance of handing (or denying) the goons a league title, that was when he chose to give it some to the fans, about where was our winning mentality! Yet we were only put in that horrible position which none of us wanted, because he had presided over some awful results which saw CL slip away, and he had the gall to call out the fans?

The fans had nothing left to play for because he had lost too many games ffs. he's an odious prick.
