Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't think it matters who we bring in, anges system isn't going to work in the premier league, it's too unrelenting and better quality than what he has faced before.
I don't see him lasting the course, not helped by the powers behind him but, he should still be getting better out of the team than he has.

Our wins this season
Everton- shite
Brentford- lose every away game
Man United - play badly to get ETH sacked and down to 10 at 1-0
West Ham - shite
Villa - went 2 month's without a win
City - 1 win in last 9 - garbage

Which of those wins should we be proud of?
Everyone we play who is in half decent form at the time beats us.
And Ipswich and Palace who were not even in form.

It's like people are flat out lying to themselves to make it up

yes yes yes, everyone we beat is shite

They massively outplayed us.

Our two nil lead came from Sideshow Cunt falling over twice. Yes, we capitalised and took the goals well, but we got thoroughly outplayed at home.
We conceded a lot of possession but we spaffed a few big chances too. Son should have scored at least one other goal and Sarr also hit the bar.

Goals change games.

Sancho's goal was quality. Not really anyone's fault.

The ref let Spurs down with the red card and Chelsea being generally very aggresssive throughout.

We have seen this double standard from refs, in Spurs home games, many times this season.

Being in 3 cups still will be the downfall of Ange if anything. We simply don't have a squad for 4 competitions right now. Say we go all out strong to win a Europa League game. Can easily see losing the following league game and truly making ourselves at home in the bottom half of the table.

The Sancho goal was horrendous.

We had zero midfield. Two nil up and we were pressing like nutters. Chavs transitioned in a matter of seconds.

Great finish but horrific team play by us.
I suppose somebody was at fault but compared to the two pens it was a conceded goal I can live with, especially from the standards set by this team.

We give goals away don't we?

At least Sancho had to come up with a decent finish to get them back into the game.

It’s only his downfall if you care about the prem, which I don’t.

As long as we are in the Cups, an amazing season is possible. Tbh I might not watch another premier league game this season, that Chelsea script was too predictable and we already know it will be more of the same against Liverpool

We won the FA Cup in the 90s. We had Gazza in the 90’s. We signed Klinsmann in the 90’s. More ambitious for football, much less organised for business

100%. The Gazza signing was huge at the time.
We could / would not get that calibre of player now or break the British transfer record. I guess that was a huge gamble on the boards part looking at where we ended up within a few years.

Can’t see ENIC making those type of schoolboy financial errors. Money making machine nowadays.

Not getting stuffed by Rangers and Southampton?
Levy will already be in touch with candidates.

It's when not if I reckon.

Ange is a dead man walking.

You have to laugh at polls and people believing Levy thinks about anything other than the filthy lucre.

Once the European revenue looks in jeopardy; Levy gets the stick out.

My money is on Silva or Howe.

Silva will be cheaper.

For me current statistics, what this or that manager done beforehand, or at other clubs, what we were like like 5, 10, 30 years ago, fuck all that its about the here and now and what we are seeing on the pitch and what we are hearing in pre and post match interviews.
All of which is farcical! Unsustainable Sunday league basketball style football backed up by moody arrogant non-sensical contradictory mumblings from a coach who is totally out of his depth and what's even more farcical is how people are buying into this fools rhetoric and approach just because its different to anything else they have seen and heard from current and other EPL managers in the past.

Well you haven't seen or heard anything else like it from other EPL managers before because it doesn't fucking work and to think Ange-Ball will eventually revolutionise the game and THFC into a successful club is naive to say the least!

One question? If AP got the sack from The Lane do you honestly think he would command another managerial job in The Prem? The answer is of course he wouldn't! The bottom 6/7 sides would not take a punt that this idiots approach would not get them relegated. Teams from 14th/13th to 8th/7th don't have the squads (like us) to cope with the intensity and disarray of Ange-Ball and the rest would demand a more studied style of football.

When this fool goes we won't hear of him again this side of the boarder!

How bad does it have to get for him to be kicked out the door?
Hand on heart, I think we’d need to be 13th / 14th in Jan, looking down the table. The hint, rather than threat, of relegation would need to be on the table.

If not, he’ll simply get the boot at the end of the season and Levy will have more managers to choose from.

They don’t want to sack him. He’s very lucky in that regard as typically he’d be gone.
