I agree with thisThe VFTL pod thought the Saints match was more important and Rangers should be de-prioritized. Thinking was that even with a draw or loss we’d still have an excellent chance of progressing in EL, even if not top 8, in the new year with more players healthy. Whereas not beating Saints would be more catastrophic.

It's fucked up that I'm asking this before Christmas but that's what Spurs are this year. We don't look equipped to challenge for the Top 4. And I'm pretty sure fucking the EL so badly we have two extra playoff games to squeeze in isn't going to help with whatever it is we think we're doing in the league after Christmas either.
We deprioritised Roma and Galatasaray only to lose to Ipswich and look like a League two team against Fulham anyway, and all we've done in the process is pile on the pressure even more for tomorrow.
I don't believe for a second we'll be anywhere near a Europa League final come May but that said it's a knockout competition and anything can happen. I see no value in mugging it off.
