Match Europa League - 12th December - Rangers (A) 8PM

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This Ange In crowd, are they in the room with us now?

Literally every single poster on here is Ange Out. I genuinely think I'm the only one.
I want to see the year out before giving up on Postecoglou. Last season I didn't like the appointment and was critical of the system at a time when people were very happy with him. Now people seem to want him gone sooner than later. I think we need to find out if this system will work and it wouldn't be fair to judge him based on recent matches where so many players were injured. No chance he's fired, Levy and Munn have gone all in on trying to create a Man City style organization on the cheap. It would be a humiliation to them if they had to let Postecoglou go.

Rangers away. Dragusin, an overplayed Porro, undercooked Udogie and an 18 year old midfielder for our back line, a half-asleep attack and fuck knows how many Scottish lunatics chanting. But fuck it. We didn't lose. Naff but not exactly armageddon.

Can't say it's made me confident we're winning this competition though.

We're almost not a team anymore. The only way to bare watching us play is to concentrate on individual players. So Bergvall was looking decent again today. Some crisp strong passings. Other than that by no surprise Forster was a standout. Finding big Fraser Forster one of not so many likeable faces in this group lately. Seeing Son as he is just makes me sad. But I wonder if a different menager could still get 1-2 super sub seasons out of him. Ange clearly has no idea how to use him though.
Why not start Will tonight? That front 3 started the other night and were terrible. This guy never learns.

That's cool. I was just looking for a definitive answer to the short term question.

I myself would stick with Ange but I'm a romantic.

I also think Mason did a good job in our Cup Final after the Jose sacking so there's that.

I also know a better, healthier, squad absolutely fell to pieces last time we sacked a manager.

So that's where I'm at. A bit too scarred to dive into the unknown but have no problems with those who do
Mason was crap in that cup final. We stink out the place. He dropped ndombele who had been playing ok under Jose put in winks and never ever put him on. Think he put bale on the bench as well.

So you're a "no" to sacking Ange before United?

Or a yes if it's Potter or Southgate who would be able to start before next Thursday?

Or Option C whatever that is?

How many of those rangers players are getting into a premier league squad? We’ve had a kind European draw, has been a total tits up

We slagged a team off as championship level, despite them embarrassing better teams than us in getting to the final a few years back. Missing main players and they still toyed with us.

A point is better than we deserved. £bns spent and we have no atmosphere compared to this team in the stands, and no passion or skill on the field or off it. But atleast we have the chance to play and lose to them over 2 legs in the knockouts. #KeepAnge

I love Sonny, but to be fair if we didn't have the current injury toll, he should be benched. He rarely takes on the defender anymore. Losing possession way to many times.

It was a poor game for many. Dragusin can be strong at times, but his passing is woeful. Not just today.

literally everyone...everyone...as in everyone...agrees that Rangers were the better team bar you. Do you think it's merely coincidental that this is the case or are you wrong as usual.

Fuck me this guy is on another planet.
I'm not blind Forrest, I was making the point that "support" doesn't have to be an endless litany of whining about how shit everything is.
I saw the game and I know that Rangers were on top and more threatening than we were, but unlike the whining dorks that come in here to shit the team, the manager and every other aspect of the club I have supported for every one of the last 57 years of my life - I store the bad and prefer to find the good.

In all walks of life there's always at least 1 moaning twat who spends all day long moaning about everything that happens at work and up to a point you accept the fact that that's who they are - but in the end it gets too much and you snap and tell them to STFU and get on with it. If you don't see one where you work - then it's probably you. Whining might be your way of letting off steam but it fucks everyone else off.

As far as I can tell all the match thread is about is an opportunity for those people to congregate and compete to see which one of the can out moan the others.

People who like to poke an open wound as if they are the only one who can see it.

Thank you, how refreshing to read some level headed perspective

Na, same Planet different Metaverse. He's operating from the 7th or 8th dimension. In that dimension Levy cleans Toilets and we have Salah, Haaland and Lionel Messi (young version) as our front 3.

hahahahahahahah he calls out easy targets like Spence, Werner and Bissouma. Of course he can do that.

Show me where he's called out Romero's unacceptable performances being culpable for six to seven goals or Sonny ghosting through games. Woopdeedoo he called out a bit part player that isn't even ours.
Difference is players like Romero and Son have earned the benefit of the doubt. The likes of Spence, Werner and Bissouma have done fuck all wearing this shirt.

Didn’t watch the game. Knew it would be tough after summers getting kicked to pieces in Glasgow.

Amazing anyone thought it would be a cakewalk.

Sounds like Ange is starting to lose it too.
You don’t publicly call out your players. It’s the cardinal rule. That’s behind closed doors stuff.
This is the same manager who said he would rather not sub players if they don’t deserve to win. Just leave them on the pitch.

Confronting fans and now this. If you can’t recognise a man feeling pressure I’m sorry for you.

Big 10 days now. Soton, United and Liverpool. Wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t win 1 of those games. Issue for him is what Daniel expects. Probably not that run of results.
