You can be a Spurs fan and think Werner is absolute dog shit whilst simultaneously thinking it's bad management by Ange to publicly criticise him. I hope both of them are gone ASAP.

I can't think of examples in modern football where this works for the manager but I can think of examples (Jose) where it shows the writing is on the wall for said manager.
 
Only just seeing the Werner comments from Ange now! It’s unravelling at quite a pace. Gone Monday? Gone next Friday? It’s only a matter of time. Can’t see where our next win is coming from. A squad running on fumes as it is, has seemingly downed tools

I would not go as far to say hopeless, he has a knack for scoring one touch finishes and can often put good balls in.

But his overall intelligence is missing, doesn’t run when he should and is fucking lazy, won’t track back. When your RB can’t defend and your RW doesn’t track back, it’s any wonder we are constantly being fucked over on that side.

It’s worse than that, 20 of them will be keepers as well - so if you boil it down to outfield players it’s top 2 or 3%

Brennan Johnson is shit is very easy to say, but he has been completely misused at Spurs. He has been told to curtail his natural game to play the Ange way. It is a little bit the same with Werner he has more weaknesses but he is asked to provide width but he is another inside forward.
 
For Ange to make Xmas, he has to win the next 2. I can’t see it at all, he already doesn’t have some of the senior players playing for him - Biss.

I don’t care about all the backing him noise, if Levy is getting pelters at the United game then Ange is gone, we’ve seen it all before.

My guess is we get another shiete draw at Southampton and United knock us out. Mason managed us to a 4-0 loss at home to Liverpool.

I said before that the only thing that had me keeping Ange here was the lack of a decent alternative, and I said that it was so depressing that we had a manager I was keeping for reasons that were nothing to do with the actual manager themselves.

The other thing that bothers me with the way some of his supporters talk, and when I say supporters, I don’t mean those who are just generally “give him time”, I mean the ones who have joined forums to support solely him, have never watched the league and are only here because the Aussie media has made him out to be a footballing genius and they follow him where ever he goes. With those supporters I hate the idea of him being sacked, and then having to listen to the rhetoric of him being sacked before he won any cups and the whole “HE aLwaYs WinS SecOnD SeaSon” thing.

I can visualise it now, if he loses to United, then we end up truly buggering up the EL, he gets sacked, but at the time he does we’re still in the FA cup, all we’ll ever hear is that he would have won it, and the reasoning will be because he always wins something in the second season.

Not because he ever looked like winning it, not because we were playing like we could win it, not because we ever came close, but just because he’s won crap pots in crap leagues and he and these followers talk about it as if it’s incredible. I don’t think Ange is going to win anything here, even if he had a headstart and a favourable draw.

You don’t win anything with playground football. Yet I now feel like just giving him the cups, and suffering the 12th placed finish just so there can be no excuses. What’s worse about that is I want us to win every game, and I genuinely think that pretty much any manager with even the slightest bit of top level nous and experience would have us finish the season stronger than this. Yet I just can’t be doing with seeing this bloke on my screen giving it “well I always win something mate but they didn’t give me time to… but I would have mate”.

Let him go and be a winner again claiming titles in Kazakhstan, the Himalayan super league, and Nepal or something.

Personally I would not have cared if he got sacked in the summer but some people believed he could do something. After the City match I thought it had clicked he was willing to adjust his tactics but no that wasn’t true he only adjusts for City.

Curtailed??? That doesn’t stop you being able to control the ball,pass to a team mate,use your pace and make runs in behind. Our front three that started last night can’t do the fucking basics. No wonder we are utter shit just now. Brennan has produced this season with his goals but every other part of his game is sub standard no matter what tactics are give to him.

Werner is brain dead. Last night in the first half Sonny got played in the box between left centre back and left back with a chance to shoot or cross across the face of the goal and Werner is standing on the touchline on the left wing about 25 yards from goal. Any footballer knows that they have to get in the box to be the second striker there but not that balloon Werner. I have zero sympathy for the stick Werner gets. He’s a toddler with no heart stuck in a man’s body. £150,000 a week. Get to fuck.
