Honestly, I'd keep Bergvall in the side but if Ange wanted to protect him a bit from this game I could understand it. United will be looking to target people when it comes to officials and winning cheap cards and fouls, especially after the Bruno red got overturned. They will be looking to pressure that into a few payback whistles and young kids is who they would go after. But if Biss gets an early yellow, I'd have no fear bringing Bergvall in.

I think we see another Maddison masterclass in this one. He loves a battle against the other big-name creative CMs in the prem and with the darts on he will be in a good mood the whole Christmas period.

Probably a decent call for starting line up. Gives us a bench of :

Austin, Udogie (if fit), Dorrington, Bergvall, Johnson, Son, Lankshear, Werner plus one youngster (max 9 on bench)

Still not available : Romero, Van de Ven, Davies, Bentancur, Richarlison, Odobert, Moore

I just don't like his demeanour. If you don't go his way and speak to him as if he's God's greatest gift, he'll go all grumpy. He's such a petulant manchild.

Not really a particular example, it's more of an overall observation. I've met loads of people like him that whenever they talk, I'm just like they're so full of shit, I ain't buying what they're selling. I did give him the benefit of the doubt at the start of his Spurs tenure, I thought he may really be that cool, funny old dude...but that act quickly evaporated to reveal the real Ange Postecoglou.

That said, being Spurs manager and working under that chairman and that type of wet lettuce players, it even changed Poch towards the end...and he is a genuinely nice, warm, personable man.
His demeanour in media appearances?
Have you spoken to him to know how he’ll react if he’s not spoken to like gods gift?
I’ll be honest I don’t remember ever seeing a press conference where he was spoken to like he’s gods gift. Interview features are very different, every player and manager gets treated like gods gift when they are interviewed for a feature,

You’ve met people like him but have you actually met him?

Interesting hearing rumours from Man U camp before this one. Rashford and Garnacho dropped from the squad for shit training. Amorim could either try to get a reaction from them or start a very young squad.
Honestly don't know which one would suit us better but the build up to this game will be exciting.

I don't need to have met the man to form an opinion. I've seen enough interviews, training footage or the way he behaves on the touchline during matches.

To me, he's a very limited manager and shouldn't be at Tottenham. And he's not a great man. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong.

You obviously love Ange - like you do Udogie - and I don't, so we never gonna agree. Convo isn't really going anywhere. Let's just move on.

How do we line up if both Udogie and Spence are unavailable?
Dorrington at CB and Archie at LB?
We play with nine men, and humiliate those cunts!

Giggety giggety, giggity-goo!!

Is there any chance at all VDV might be back for this? It would help so much.

Biss is back available…. Dunno if he’ll play.

Bentancur is c so actually nearly available again? Liverpool is his last banned game.

Would be nice to get a couple of lads back from knocks. I think Spence should start again tbh.

Forster

Spence Dragusin gray Udogie

Sarr Maddison Bissouma

Kulu Solanke Son
Hell i'd play Gary Mabbutt at this rate

Nah I was just curious what led you to have such a different opinion mate.

I don’t love Ange. I’ve never met him and he’s just got started at the club. I do respect his honesty and commitment to what he believes in though. That’s why I was asking questions to work out how we could reach such different perspectives.

Yeah man interesting. We watch the same stuff, but see things totally different.

Total toss up this game. If they use the same formation they did at City, it might actually suit us. Neither team really has anything to lose per se in this game but I would love to stuff’em again. A semi final to look forward to would be marvelous!
