Pochettino worked because he is the best manager I have seen probably in this league at any club in improving and developing players individually. Poch might have had tactical and recruitment deficiencies but his player improving skills are Messi level. It’s why he perfectly fitted us because it mostly buying unfinished players.

Unless we get Poch or some Poch like manager I think it will be 18 months then sacked.
It’s not a bad call at all to get Poch back.

Potter and Southgate are free so it will be one of them probably.
I can already see the script

"Dear Supporters.

As we have embarked on our new managerial search, we have endeavoured to prioritise our focus on continuing our reputation for exciting, attacking football that we know you all demand. After exhausting a long and distinguished list of applications and completing a deliberating interview process, I believe we have appointed the man who will not only meet but exceed our expectations of the fast flowing, attacking football synonymous with Tottenham Hotspur

Welcome aboard, Gareth Southgate

In addition, ticket prices will increase so, we can make as much money as possible without achieving the square root of fuck all.
Much love Daniel.

Maybe he’s being turned down by all and sundry again like during the last two managerial searches?

Whilst I think we are an attractive club to manage, the top level guys are far too intelligent to do it.
Agree, anyone with any managerial pedigree would see it as a massive risk, that or it's now obv clear that all fail here that it's not seen as a blot on the copy book, especially if money is right.

So it still comes back to Levy. He appointed him, mate.
he did and it was a shit hire. i think he got turned down by everyone higher up the food chain and in desperation decided to toss the fans a bone with the 'attacking' coach they'd been begging for. then we won 9 of ten and came up with a cute song and we've been stuck ever since. the reality is ange is a backwater hack. can you imagine if he was american rather than a jolly aussie? he would've been out on his ass a year ago

If we appoint Southgate I'm giving up on watching football.
