Turkish football execs and journos are known to chat a bit of shit. But the long going rumour with Terzic is that he wants to have a go in the Premier League so there could be something to this.

As for him as a person. He seems like a good dude based on most accounts. A Dortmund lifer who went from the stands to the coaching bench. He's had a ton of jobs for them. He's been a scout, an assistant (and reportedly Jadon Sancho's baby sitter), interim manager, technical director, and finally manager. He's good at developing younger players (a must at Dortmund) and plays a direct attacking brand of football, but with more of a defensive identity than Ange for comparison's sake.

He had Dortmund the closest that they've come to dethroning Bayern since Klopp.

Is there a guarantee that he'd be a success here? Maybe not. But he's a young but experienced manager with a lot of upside. And if Spurs want to focus on buying young I think that he's as close to ideal as we can find.
Didn’t he work under Bilic at wham who tbf were a pretty decent side before Payet went awol

As this club is a total fucking joke and it hurts me to feel that way and as the board are a bunch of numpties and aren’t capable of supporting a manager looking at the squad the next manager should be a wing back guy or capable of using that system.

Vicario
Romero Dragusin VDV
Porro Sarr Bentancur Maddison Udogie
Johnson Solanke

352 would enable us to use our strongest aspect (midfield and wing backs), mean that Johnson only has to be a runner and box scorer in attacking areas rather than a winger (Johnson is a shit winger) and with 3 CB’s you only need 1 genuine CB, by which I mean you could play both Gray and Bissouma in a back 3 long as you have 1 proper fit CB.

It fits the mess of our squad better. As a club the manager has to fit the players rather than the players the manager because that is for some fucked up reason who we are. I would put Gray and Bergvall in as a they probably deserve it but you get the point.
You’re leaving out or best player….

Why note just bring someone until the end of this season only. After the season ends we can see what we have, continue or move on to the permanent hire. ManU did it, Chelsea did it, Bayern did it.
Because as it stands we are still in the league cup and in the Europa with a collection of beatable teams if we get our act together!!

This season is not over! Fine if it was April and we were sleepwalking to the summer. It’s not ecen January ffs

I am not sure you understood the basis of my question.

I want Ange out NOW. I was wondering why focus now on a long term replacement instead of getting someone NOW until the end of the season and rescue what can be rescued.

Someone recently suggested Potter as caretaker until the end of the season. I was (and still am) totally against getting him in on a long contract now, but as a caretaker it's beginning to sound like a good idea and might even appeal to him too as there's hardly a queue forming for his services. That way if it works out well, and if he can bear working for Levy, a permanent contract may suit all at the end of the season.

Otherwise I haven't a scoobie who we should go for.

As long it isn't Lord Sir Gareth Southgate MBE, VC, DFC.

Apologies you’re right I misread your post.

I feel we need to be looking long term from this point a 6 month manager is a waste imo throw some cash at Trezic, Iraola, Silva, Frank whoever..

Act like a club our size!
