Yeah but Chelsea lost to Ipswich tonight so we're all good, apparently

:ange-arms:

Other teams are expected to win every game don’t forget 😂😂😂😂

The excuses and length people are going to to defend Ange are weird at this point. If people could just admit they were wrong then we wouldn’t have to go through this shit. Just like if Ange turns this around I’ll admit I was wrong about him. But I don’t expect him to.

Yeah and that’s a issue with some of our fan base as long as other teams are shit it doesn’t matter the state we’re in it’s all good.

Really is some weird, random shit going on, mate

A Dipper client of mine who was sat in the home section during the recent humiliation said sections of the crowd were actually singing Postecoglou's name as the scouseers were carving us open and the fifth and sixth goals were hitting the back of the net.

He'd never seen anything like it in over 40 years as a football fan. He himself used the word cult to explain it.

He also commented on the charade with the Squid game thing. Said the whole event was a surreal experience that kind of tainted what was an epic win for his team. (Another debate, maybe, but kind of wrapped up in the overall picture)

Surely it’s only a matter of time until Leandro Damiao starts a football management career and we get linked to him every time we need a manager.

In the meantime I’m going for a left field pick of Xavi.
This special relationship with Madrid has been shite. Time to switch sides.

it's not THFC as it was. It's convenient, a train station concourse/airport bar, food for any budget, a shop with numerous souvenirs, acoustic guitar cabaret acts and a future hotel for NFL and (in the off season) overseas Spurs fans. It brings a new type of customer - it's the new normal and it looks boring and very corporate. Is there a bank that owns a team? I might support them and have their name on my t-shirt to impress people who like having company names on their clothes. I may switch to Bayer Leverkusen as the chemical/pharmaceutical industry has an earthlier feel to it.

Serdal Adali knows who....

Besiktas official makes big Tottenham managerial claim

Serdal Adali, who is in the running to be the next president of Besiktas, has now made a shocking claim about Postecoglou’s future.

Speaking to the Turkish media, he revealed that he contacted former Borussia Dortmund head coach, Edin Terzic, about joining the Turkish club, but the German informed him that he expects to join Tottenham.

Adali told Tivibu Spor: “Edin Terzic was one of our foreign alternatives. In the meeting, he said he was expecting an agreement with Tottenham. That book is closed.”

The game v City last season where as a fan base wanted our own team to lose preventing the goons winning the league…..don’t get me wrong I’m not wanting them or any team doing better than us but the devil is within us, we’re not capable of being successful for whatever reason every one of us has an idea why but ffs willing us to lose what hope have we got! Woolwich did better than us end off ….for the integrity of football itself , what kind of message does that send out to the team/squad/owners if we don’t give a fuck why should they?

what a load of crud. A few fans took the piss. Any true Tottenham supporter doesn't want the scum to win a title. It's the new social media dorks and the Tottenham bashing media who made a thing of it.. and of course, the great show man himself, Ange the Musical... the serial winner. 💪

Hmmm. The only thing with that article is it just isn’t how Levy does business is it. Not convinced but I do hope they are looking

Lets be brutally honest. We've been shit for well over a year. Under Ange we were only good for 10 league games and after that we COLLAPSED. Not even once has he looked like turning it around. We're just seeing new lows. 10 games. That's actually how long this fraud lasted.
I’m going to go against the grain here and suggest we need to get behind Ange.

This club has sacked more managers in the EPL than any other team and where has it got us? Ange has had to deal with a pretty major injury crisis as well, more than once. He’s also had to deal with Kane leaving and let’s face it, Son is not the same player either. The two of them have contributed to the majority of goals for this club over the last how ever long. Lots of new players and lots of young ones.

What do we think is going to happen when a new manager comes in? They’ll probably tear the squad apart and there’ll be a new raft of players coming in and going out. We’ll find ourselves in the same position again. Look at Woolwich, Aston Villa and Newcastle. Sticking with their managers even though they haven’t been setting the world alight at various points over the last few seasons. I don’t seem to hear much sacked calls from their respective fan bases.

We need to give Ange till the end of the season and they we can reevaluate.

Just listened to Potter interview in which he was reflecting on his time on Chelsea . The interviewer quoted Alex Ferguson advice to young managers 'Don't choose the club, choose the chairman', Potter agreed and said he will be careful.
Phew, he's not coming to us

I think we can all agree that Iraolo is the only exciting option discussed on this thread and its highly unlikely he will leave Bournemouth during the season so we are looking at getting him in the Summer time at best. So if we hold out for him then our two choices are keeping Ange until May or doing the dreaded Ryan Mason thing again.

That is just the reality of the situation. If you want to take a punt on someone like Potter now then fair enough but not my preference. I'd rather wait for the right man!

That's a perfectly logical outcome to anyone who is rationalising the situation but these fans are understandably emotional, I hope the board see it this way too!
