Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

All looking forward to Jan 31st fellas when we bring in Troy Deeney on loan??....🤷‍♂️

I will be in the transfer thread like...

If we go anywhere near Grealish then we really are doomed. There is a whole generation of players who have obscene wealth by the time they're in their early 20s and as a result they stop applying themselves. Rashford is another one.

But he is winner of the biggest trophies, we could do with a bit of that.....and he knows how to celebrate

Grealish on loan for 6 months wouldn't be the worst deal but it just shows how clueless we are in the market.

We just aren't a serious club. Instead of signing someone like Eze in the summer and sorting that position out for the next 5 years, we sign Werner again on loan who is clearly shit, he obviously and predictably doesn't work out, we are now stuck with his wages until the summer, and on top of that sign a kid in Odobert who has predictably not done anything, even without his injuries, he looked miles off making an impact in the PL. So now we are scrambling around to take on a 30 year old on high wages. No complaints if it's just a loan, but Maddison and Grealish in the same team, are we building a boyband or a football team?

And if we are committing to sign him permanently, we are a joke. Turning into West Ham.

Same with Rashford, if we even entertained the idea of signing him....

Levy all over. We will end up bringing in someone who is a big name because the fans are on their knees, and it will be a headline signing, but it won't actually be a smart football signing.

I know Janaury is the time for desperation generally, and we are desperate, but we are desperate because we make poor signings and decisions in previous windows.

Instead of identifying top talent and bringing them in at a premium, we end up going for opportunities, and often they don't work out, so we end up spending more money on 3 opportunities instead of signing that one top player.

Penny wise, pound foolish.
I think the reason we signed Werner on Loan is because we have something special in Mickey Moore , asking a lot for such a young player but between him and Odobert if they both become what we hope then that’s the left side sorted for years.
It’s criminal though that we never signed a proper back up Goalie , left centre back and Udogie rotation , I know we have Davies who can cover both But without a pacey defender ie VDV and a good ball playing keeper Anges system is really exposed.
If we had any kind of desire to turn our season round we would have already lined up some players to be signed on the day the transfer window opened.

So why does everyone crawl all over Johnson, who is on a part for goal threat, more than Son?
If Son's only contribution to matches is to score the odd goal but the knock on effect is to ruin the team performance, then that's not good for anyone but him and his sad little fans who don't care if we win or lose.
I think its because the clown shoe manager we have has no idea where to play Son. Sticking him out wide on the right doesn't work. Son needs to play off a central striker and not shunted out wide - He isn't a winger. Again its this shit system, round pegs in square holes.

We absolutely need 3 or 4 players. Of that there can be little or no doubt, but Newcastle were on a poor run, probably with Howe being given dog's abuse about this and that, and with players classified as disinterested and sh!t, then boom!!

For me, we lack a single player that can do what maybe 2 or 3 Newcatle players possess, which is to have that 'unplayable' day.

Anyone else think that Sam Johnstone would be a bit of a coup for the club?

Of course the usual mob will still find a way to avoid giving Daniel his due for pulling off such a masterstroke but that's the state of this toxic fanbase in 2025

I'm gonna try to ignore all of the negativity

right , I'm going to make myself a pot noodle and watch 3 hours of Sam Johnstone highlight compilations on youtube

I'm proper tottenham me
So Sam Johnstone is a coup - Jesus... I remember when we use to sign world cup winning goalkeepers... is this what we've become. Getting fucking excited about a goalkeeper who couldn't get a game at Palace and now can't get a game at Wolves.
