Who gave the itk about us signing a full international go within a week?

Even. Though he’s u21 I still want to give them partial credit for the timing and position. They get solid rumours / whispers

spock you dont say GIF

Because he's from our academy he basically doesn't take up a squad space for Europe. And it's not worth wasting a space on a better 3rd choice goalkeeper instead of an outfield squad player e.g. Werner or Spence.
I know, but he's never played a professional game in England by the age of 25. His last actual appearance was in 2021 for Orlando City ffs .
The club should not be keeping hold of this kind of squad clutter, his resale value is surely close to zero. (£600k on Transfermarkt). If we're going for a third choice HG to just sit around, might as well keep Forster for his experience.

Let's hope he surprises us all today, eh?

This is a really good signing to replace Forster and provide long term competition for Vicario. Importantly Kinsky is very good with both feet and suited to our style of play. Also nice to see a signing inside the first week of January so quieten down some of the negativity around our squad building / approach to the transfer market. Let's see if the club are really serious though and buy the decent left footed defender we desperately this window as well as another CF!

I thought that ITK said home grown international GK which is why everyone was looking at the Wolves, Sunderland and Burnley GKs?
I thought it was full international rather than homegrown.

Lee me look….

Yep

The first 'ITK' has spoken - and to be fair Dragon1 (coys) did come up with some genuine ITK in past years - 'a young full international GK will be announced next week'.

No idea who though the 'full international' cuts out Trafford at Burnley and Patterson at Sunderland as both are E u21 who could have been contenders.

But if ITK is correct, its one position dealt with !
