Broadly correct - and CT then gives extra places in any uefa squad.

But an u21 player who has spent 2 years at Spurs will be counted as a 'List B player' and we can have unlimited List B players in addition to the EL squad we currently have which is limited to 22 players as we have only one CT player in Austin.

Almost all List B players will go on to be Cub Trained - which is essentially players who when under age 21 had spent 3 years at Spurs (a simplified explanation of the qualification required). We need a minimum of 4 Club trained players to get a full 25 man squad of players aged over 21.

The club should not be keeping hold of this kind of squad clutter, his resale value is surely close to zero. (£600k on Transfermarkt). If we're going for a third choice HG to just sit around, might as well keep Forster for his experience.

Originally came from Dragon1 on COYS (who has a track record for good information, albeit not for a couple of years).

I was the guy who took the abuse for posting that ITK on TFC - original itk was a young international gk to be signed within a week (didn't say u21 specifically). so the itk was pretty accurate in terms of position and timing.
