I’m sure they are but do you think some of ours are down to our style & training ?

There seems to be a history

The start of the first season whilst their bodies adapt to a new level of intensity, yes. I don't think it could be the case, it's established to be a fact for all coaches that play this way.

If the intensity becomes part of the routine then their bodies should be adapted to it by now so the cases were players have been injured again whilst returning should be of much bigger concern and absolutely something we need to understand better.

I was posting this up a couple of years ago, got laughed at and accused of being a conspiracy theorist.

This is the most corrupt league on Earth, and will continue to be so as long as fans continue to deny the obvious.

EVERYTHING is slanted towards benefitting the biggest spending teams,

Back in the day maybe but not anymore. Plenty big teams have shit decisions going against them just look at what happened to pool against us last season.

The refs on the field might make a mistake but there are no excuses for VAR to fuck anything up.

Combination of increased matches domestically and internationally AND how we train and play. Players are being overworked.

Come on you can do better than this.

Everything he does I feel is good, he's a good all rounder a very balanced player - doesn't really excel at anything, his stand out attribute is probably finishing but he'd doesn't get many chances in this team.

For comparisons sake look at Nunez for Liverpool, gets a bag full of chances but cannot score for toffee...if Solanke was missing chances like him then I'd expect him to be criticised but to criticise him for not even getting those types of chances is kinda off and tells me you're not really watching the football.

He's a big reason why we've scored so many goals as a team because of his work rate and his unselfish play where others are benefitting from that.

Solanke is the least of our problems!

I don't believe this is purely the case, only yesterday Arse got a dodgy decision against them in favour for Brighton so I don't think they are looking out for the big clubs at all.

I do though think the refs tend to want to create narratives and give headline decisions so they it creates talking points in order to put more eyes on the league as controversy sells.

I said before this league is a Hollywood league, it's all about the storylines and the narratives, what the refs can affect on a game to game basis, they're always the talking points of the league, that and VAR

So in that sense it is corrupt but they're not favouring a team but they are referring this league based on emotion and instruction instead of calling it down the line.
Fair comment. I don't agree, but then I'm not going to shout down your belief just because it differs from mine. What I will say though is that the decisions that go the way of the 'brand favourites' FAR outweigh those that go against them. I looked into that a while ago and the evidence is damning. The only reason they get away with it is because so many turn a blind eye to it. They might comment, like we did with the debacles that Wolves have been subjected to, but most don't give a shit unless it happens to their club. As most of the fans in this country are affiliated to the 'brand favourites,' they'll keep schtum as they benefit from the corruption in the main. Right up until they get a contentious one against them, then watch the tears flow.

One thing we do agree on though, I think, is that this is the most corrupt league in the World.

Agree with all the above, we have been getting a rough time from refs for a long time now. It seems to be customary to allow our players to be kicked for the first 20 mins with no punishment to worry about. Ref today was obnoxiously poor and as for VAR just plain awful, but these fuckers get away with it week in week out, there seems to be little to no punishment for their negligence.
It is so blatent.

Against Villa the ref allowed them to slow the game down to a virtual standstill until the crowd reacted abrasively to a 2nd half tactical foul on the half way line.

He then swapped sides, after Spurs took the lead, and gave everything to Spurs for a quiet life.

Ange should call it out in a presser and point to the multiple injuries Spurs have as his evidence.

VAR was brought in for a reason and at the onset it stopped a lot of cheating, diving, shirt pulling etc and stopped the referee being surrounded on the pitch.

I strongly suspect that VAR was finally levelling the playing field and then the pitchside monitor bullshit, prompted by big club pundits, brought back the same old shit and the same injustice to the outcomes.

Offsides took ten minutes to sort out and shit decisions were then routinely given to frustrate the crowds.

It's corrupt as fuck and it is obvious to anyone who is paying attention to the details.

TBF we’ve played well second half considering.
We did which was partly due to toon letting us have the ball. However, some on here go on as if we are a league two team play barca. Ffs we are home, have serial
winner as a manager, had first teamers playing in midfield and forwards. First choice FB, £30M CB that Ange wanted and a £40M player. Not exactly as if we were playing with kettering town players. We lost, we gave it a good go 2nd half but never really threatened Barca few moments in their pen box. Ange’s attacking style really doesn’t produce football which carves teams open. If we have space then we can.

Johnson never wants the ball does he?

Don’t see him offering himself once
I have said this numerous times. As soon as we get the ball down right hand side he moves inside behind their players. Now and then he will stay wide and receive the ball from our defenders but mostly hides. Never makes a move to receive the ball always moves to a position where his never gonna be passed to.
