Lol - we closed last season on a 7 month long run in the league which was equivalent to our worst season in 15 years. With a manager who had never played or coached in a top 5 league before.

No one - no one - thought challenging for the PL title this season was credible.

In fairness to rich arlison, he almost certainly did. He probably still thinks we can do it this season. You can never accuse him of being unambitious.

Why shouldn't it be credible every season?

If they had been more aggressive in the window wouldn't it have been more credible?

Why in the first half was it nearly always he got the ball then played it backwards, rarely took on his man
second half he was better & appeared to be trying to go forward
but all this hype around another spurs academy player its just that hype started by the coaching staff

He's 17 and was easily our best attacking player when he was on the pitch.

Tbh i thought he was exciting to watch and a but quicker and more explosive than the last time he played. The break has been good for him.

I thought he went down way too easy. Obviously not going to be too hard on a 17 year old that is just starting out but flicking the ball around a defender and then running into him isn’t going to work at this level.

I thought it was a poor decision to take him off tbh. He was the only one really trying to force the issue and looking like they could make something happen in the second half. Once he stepped up it seemed the team did for a period then once he went off we went back to how we was.
