this is where i am now too. i've been hard ange out for a long time but we need someone to come in now and save us from the misery that a relegation fight will bring. we took a punt on a budget coach with gimmick football and it didn't work out. time to grow up and move on or we could have an absolute disaster on our hands. i know people are saying relegation won't happen and i'm being alarmist but we're way too close to doomsday for my liking. it's not even specifically about ange anymore. switching managers is the last arrow in our quiver to save the season from disaster. he's gotta go now

I'm nearly 50, been watching Spurs for 40+ years. Also played and coached for a living, in a variety of countries. I was a FB who could cover CB. So yeah, I know a quality FB when I see one and it's clear as day Porro can't defend, which still is a FB's main duty. The way Trossard ruined him on that turn was luck, I guess. As were the 1000 other times he's been made a mug since joining Spurs. Guy can't defend, mainly cause he can't read or understand situations. And his attacking nous is way overrated. So yeah, that's a poor FB in my books and considering his price tag & rep, he's one of the worst I've seen at RB for Spurs.
Ange's recent benching of Maddison is very strange to say the least. We don't have a deep enough squad to not play Maddison.
65m gets you nowhere near elite. 65m gets you a solanke very good level player.

You have Mou and Conte on one hand, and then Nuno, and Ange on the other.
Levy never had the cash to properly back Mou or Conte- and not properly backing Conte ruined any chance of that working out. Mou was a dinosaur but Levy still sacked him right before a cup game- stupid. Nuno was fired before he could even get in a groove, and now the club is reluctant to sack Ange because it might hurt their finish in the financial fair-play table.
Daniel Levy and ENIC have no idea how to choose a good coach for this club, and therefore how to compete effectively. It's really just throw a hail mary and pray every time that we make the right choice of coaches.
Solanke is considered a problematic purchase for us? He's the best big money we've spent in years.
Yep. Think he will be a gonna on Sunday if we lose to Everton. They are terribly off form and have only scored 15 goals this season. Not sure Ange survives if Dr Tottenham puts in another appearance

Agreed I get wanting more obvious goal threat from a striker but he's a class player and imo we have a ton of bigger problems plus he'd look more threatening if we sorted out decent wide players
