We’d finish 9th when you take out that freak run of games at the start of the season. Some people just refuse to accept reality.

Yes because the season of course started in November didn't it, such a DUMB argument.
It’s because replicating our best start of a season in Premier League history is likely incredibly hard and would do Postecoglou a disservice to be held against such high standards.

Actually wait, the expectations are that we just don’t relegate nowadays so ignore that.

I just don’t get how he is still in a job , my only thinking is we think we will stay up regardless and we want to prove to the next manager that he will get time and trust to do his job as we have stopped being a club that sacks managers mid project?
You might be right that they could be thinking that way. But, they'd be mistaken, because I don't think we have neccesarily sacked anyone prematurely.

Pochettino is the one you could make the case for, but I think both he and his relationship with the club had become exhausted. Mourinho was done a couple months before he eventually left, and he should've gone after the europa league disaster. There was no continuing with Nuno after the Man Utd game.. And Conte essentially refused to come back by all accounts..

Now the question of just how and why all of these tenures went off the rails so quickly is another one. We know the culprit for that.. However, the actual point of them departing was not premature. None of them were turning it around.

Has to get a result tomorrow surely? No semi competent big club keeps a manager who has led them to 15th heading towards the end of January. This level of shitness has only been seen 2 or 3 times in 48 years.

Problem is have we left it too late, no way will Iraola, Howe and even Frank leave their clubs at this stage of a season so we'd have to find someone temporary or go for Terzic

No it's just a stupid arbitrary argument based on the fact that you want to discount it because it does not support your evidence that Ange did well, it's BS

There's so many things to get at this manager at but ignoring results just because it doesn't appease your little agenda is pathetic.

You might as well say we should ignore the last 10 matches in this losing streak because replicating it again it incredibly hard and unrealistic, dumb argument.
