Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Here's my take.

Spurs are getting mugged off by referees.

The foul on Son is a stonewall penalty; all day long. Ref bottled it; VAR allowed it.

Bergvall's booking, for a shoulder barge,on Calvert Lewin, was a joke. It was a foul but not a booking.

Having set that shit decision as a bench mark for a yellow; how is Calvert Lewin's elbow smashing into Dragusin's face not a red card?

It matters not one bit what Calvert Lewin intended.

His elbow connects with Dragusin's face; Dragusin was left in a heap on the floor. Referee gives a yellow but VAR fails to upgrade another shit decision to a red. By the laws of the game it is a straight red.

Spurs must appeal these decisions.

Having said all of that; Spurs gave up 3 very preventable goals today so the defeat is on us rather than the ref.

Between Son's shit finishing and the ref's shit decisions Ange will probably pay the price in the near future.

It's relegation form though so neither Ange nor Spurs can have too many complaints.

What will the bald miser do next I wonder?

It was physical; not form.
Maybe. It’s such a strange one. I do recall him suddenly turning it all back on for Mourinho’s first game and then it was petulant and back-heels and couldn’t play in the structure that was asked.

No question the decline began before, but I perceived the ‘not caring/ not managing it’ coincided with Mourinho (same as Eriksen). However, could just as easily have been the impact of COVID or his own many demons.

Refs know we always take their decisions by the chin. We are the best team they can bully honestly. We are the softest club around. We are actually quite pathetic because people hardly respect us, but deep down laughing at us most of the time I'm sure. Which is why our players are not motivated to win at all. Because the club they represented is so passive in everything. The image of the club as a football club is honestly shit. All because of the bald cunt.

Ange made moyes look like pep first half. Worst half I've seen since we lost 6-1 to chelsea in 98. Must admit ref gave them everything. We were dreadful first half but standard of refereeing in this country is sub standard.
No team should have to rely on getting referee decisions - the mistakes do tend to even out in the long-run. We should have been much more aggressive (in tackles, pressing etc. from the get-go) rather than than letting them enjoy space and time all afternoon.

Which was extortionate itself. He saw us for mugs, took us to the cleaners, and then contrived his own early exit.
Also we shouldn't understate the damage he did before leaving. By blaming everyone other than himself, he probably destroyed the confidence of a lot of the players, and (perhaps even more significantly) most likely made the manager's job seem like even more of a poisoned chalice than it already was. People wonder why we ended up with the relatively unknown Postecoglou - I don't think it's unlikely that our odds of appointing a manager with a more established top-level reputation were severely damaged by Conte's outbursts (and whether he was 'right' or not is irrelevant to that). Absolute coward of the highest order, and quite possibly did more damage to our club than any other manager under the current ownership.

Can I Have Some More Oliver Twist GIF

We'll go to Ipswich and get our arses handed to us
Amateur manager. Nice idea levy but it hasnt worked. Trawling players 3 days after season ended last damaged players morale. Ludicrous club decision that was. Business before glory this club. Need new ideas at top. Sugar and levy balanced book..thanks for that and honourable. Kindly now step aside levy end of season to an owner who is ambitious and wants to win.

The ref's side with every other team against Spurs whether we are at home or away.

It has been happening for the last few seasons and I honestly think it is to do with Levy's involvement in the European Super League bid that failed.

They are punishing Levy for biting the hand that fed him.

Some of the decisions are so dishonest, or a double standard when juxtaposed with how they intepret the decisions they take against the teams we are playing, in the same games, it has to be deliberate in my opinion.

It needs to be called out publicly in the way Gary O'Neil did it regarding Wolves.

It's fucking cheating and it changes the games that are affected.

When you are as shit as we are, blaming the ref is weak and boring.
