The truly sackable offence was when Micky and Romero reinjured themselves against Chelsea. It's negligence of the highest order, and responsibility not only falls on the medical staff, but also on Ange. It cannot be a coincidence.

Said before I am just about onside with Southgate if the contract was structured right. Namely directly incentivizing him to win the Europa League, so a 6 month contract that automatically renews for a further 2 years if we win the Europa League and are not relegated. Otherwise the club have an option, but not an obligation, to renew and can walk away for free if we so choose.
I think we'd be shite with Southgate, but if he won the EL that's all that would matter. Winning the EL is paramount at this point. Unlikely, but it's the most important thing we can do (and always was, but has only grown moreso).
