Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Definitely. It’s why he doesn’t have a loyal assistant that follows him around. Yet another alarm bell we should have addressed at the start.
And 100% why he doesn't actively handle training sessions and keeps players at a distance (as the reports say).

Remember how both Mourinho and Conte praised Hojbjerg and Dier for always asking questions during training and tactical meetings? Ange must have hated those two.

Sack Ange, sack the next manager, and the one after that. The one who follows will lead us to a treble.

I’ve already sacrificed two rotisserie chickens and a six-pack of Stella from Tesco for this vision.

Because if have read back the post that I had replied to you, you stated that there were only about half a dozen ex-players that had won stuff after leaving us and Royal wasn’t on your list.

Anyway, you’re a good poster and I don’t see any point in going on with this as I’m not into c*nt-offs. Let’s just agree to move on. 👍
Appreciate that. And I wasn’t clear enough. There’s a long list of players who have won things after leaving us, but only a few we’d rather have kept.

Hojbjerg and Dier. Both sacrificed on the alter of Ange Balls. Both had much more football credibility than this Harold Bishop wanna be. FFS. He’s got me missing Eric Dier…

I doubt I will renew if it’s Southgate
Said before I am just about onside with Southgate if the contract was structured right. Namely directly incentivizing him to win the Europa League, so a 6 month contract that automatically renews for a further 2 years if we win the Europa League and are not relegated. Otherwise the club have an option, but not an obligation, to renew and can walk away for free if we so choose.

I think we'd be shite with Southgate, but if he won the EL that's all that would matter. Winning the EL is paramount at this point. Unlikely, but it's the most important thing we can do (and always was, but has only grown moreso).
