He straight up doesn't like being questioned. At all. That's it I think.
Definitely. It’s why he doesn’t have a loyal assistant that follows him around. Yet another alarm bell we should have addressed at the start.

Just give him a years supply of fosters. I'm sure that will be enough to convince him to accept compensation package to go. I can live with that.Compensation no. I just think it's more a question of securing the preferred option.
My biggest issue is on any transfer impact.
We need new players without too much further delay.
And 100% why he doesn't actively handle training sessions and keeps players at a distance (as the reports say).Definitely. It’s why he doesn’t have a loyal assistant that follows him around. Yet another alarm bell we should have addressed at the start.
Understatement of the century.
I'd argue he kinda did. Years and years of gross negligence, terrible decisions re both INs & OUTs, wasting money on shite like Ndombele & Richarlison, bringing Timo back for round 2...But levy certainly didn’t build a squad that’s lower mid table.
Maddison seems the type of individual to question Ange, especially in relation to tactics. I wouldn't be shocked if they have clashed before. He straight up doesn't like being questioned. At all. That's it I think.

Appreciate that. And I wasn’t clear enough. There’s a long list of players who have won things after leaving us, but only a few we’d rather have kept.Because if have read back the post that I had replied to you, you stated that there were only about half a dozen ex-players that had won stuff after leaving us and Royal wasn’t on your list.
Anyway, you’re a good poster and I don’t see any point in going on with this as I’m not into c*nt-offs. Let’s just agree to move on.![]()
Hojbjerg and Dier. Both sacrificed on the alter of Ange Balls. Both had much more football credibility than this Harold Bishop wanna be. FFS. He’s got me missing Eric Dier…And 100% why he doesn't actively handle training sessions and keeps players at a distance (as the reports say).
Remember how both Mourinho and Conte praised Hojbjerg and Dier for always asking questions during training and tactical meetings? Ange must have hated those two.
Said before I am just about onside with Southgate if the contract was structured right. Namely directly incentivizing him to win the Europa League, so a 6 month contract that automatically renews for a further 2 years if we win the Europa League and are not relegated. Otherwise the club have an option, but not an obligation, to renew and can walk away for free if we so choose.
I doubt it was something pleasant !I swear i saw one of the staff saying something to him on the touchline and he didnt even acknowledge the person, just staring forward.

Lol. He really is a bad tempered Harold Bishop.Hojbjerg and Dier. Both sacrificed on the alter of Ange Balls. Both had much more football credibility than this Harold Bishop wanna be. FFS. He’s got me missing Eric Dier…

I think we'd be shite with Southgate, but if he won the EL that's all that would matter. Winning the EL is paramount at this point. Unlikely, but it's the most important thing we can do (and always was, but has only grown moreso).
Oh I definitely subscribe to this theory.Maddison seems the type of individual to question Ange, especially in relation to tactics. I wouldn't be shocked if they have clashed before.
Iraola will face the same constraints and though he's doing well at B'mouth, has he got the aura to help him overcome those & achieve big things at Spurs? History would suggest we'll be back here in 12-18 months saying he's failed & gotta go.1 win in 10 league games. 8 points of the relegation places. It's outrageous that it's got to this point and there are still so many fans happy to carry on like this in the hope they'll eventually be proved right the ange is the messiah. Should be sacked by the morning and we should be going all out for iraola.
Get a wheelbarrow full of cash and get Iraola or Silva ASAP.
