First I'm hearing of a baguette business.
Tell me more.
OK hear me out, Paris Baguettes right, everyone loves a baguette and it's synonymous with France yeah, and what's in France? Paris! Paris Baguette! You get it right, but wait, there's a twist too, they're Korean!

IKR, fucking Paris Baguettes, made by Koreans, in a football stadium!

License to print money bro'.

:levywhoa:

So Kinsey and Ipswich signings are the only non City signings this Jan? Why is it SO difficult to buy in Jan?

I suppose in some ways I get it. If we bring someone in it needs to be someone that we want long term! I heard some journo guy mention bringing in Ben Godfrey as a body ‘he would have chosen us over Ipswich’ okay sure but then we get a few defenders back and we’re stuck with Ben fucking Godfrey for the next 3-4 years!

Out of interest If we could bring in 3 bodies ‘average workman’ like playes that can take a few mins off our starters would people sign off on that?

Or if the players we want let’s say Dibling, Delap (I dunno?!) we’re available in the summer would you wait?

Tbh I’d rather not bother with shite like Gedson\ Danjuma. Or any average workman style players. If you manage your squad properly you shouldn’t need to do that anyway. We constantly leave ourselves short in various areas though and haven’t been producing good enough HG players ourselves to cover gaps.

I’d wait until the summer unless you can get players that have long term use now.

But it's the decade immediately prior to them taking over, not randomly cherry picking a poor decade that suits an agenda. It's relevant because that's their starting point.

At the time of purchase we were a bit of a pig, we'd almost gone bust prior to Sugar, he deserves credit for sorting that out, then he just had us plodding around mid-table. Even that's probably being generous, we were barely threatening the top half under him, and also battled relegation.

ENIC took over and improved things further, we have been genuine contenders at times, the whole infrastructure of the club is on another level compared to what they purchased.

Now just like Sugar, they seem to have plateaud in terms of pushing the club on, personally I probably would welcome a new ownership, but that doesn't mean I won't acknowledge the good stuff they have done.

The only way you could try and denigrate what they have managed to achieve, is by suggesting that it's just coincidence that we rose up the league under them.

I always felt like Sugar did want to do well and, at the same time, make a killing on the way. He saw the Sky deal, he saw the opportunity for an Amstrad box in every home to watch it and his beady little eyes lit up.
What he found was that Man United bullied everyone, players weren't at all loyal and it cost more than he thought to compete. He lost interest and fucked off as we weren't making him money.

Unfortunately ENIC and Levy are making a killing and will always make a killing. The team don't matter anymore. It's just 19+ of 50 events they host a year now.
Imagine how furious they were at having to play Tamworth and Villa away in the FA Cup. He'll/they'll be more pissed at going out to Villa without a single home FAC fixture than the actual result.

Why are we discussing ENIC / Levy in the transfer thread? Surely we should be talking about all the new signings and latest rumours?

Intrinsically linked.

youd like to think so, it is so baffling that hes still here destroying the club.

levy must be getting snubbed! its the only thing that makes sense.

Levy's sphincter is probably about 0.33mm wide at the moment thinking about spending money on AngeLOSS.

So Kinsey and Ipswich signings are the only non City signings this Jan? Why is it SO difficult to buy in Jan?

Teams don't want to sell their best players mid season. Contracts usually run mid-year to mid-year, financial accounting April- April so maybe teams blow their ability to spend in the summer.

Oh also, Levy.

It's why he is where he is. The Club is trying its best Mate. ......Transfers are never easy.
He's never getting to this level again, we should have all seen immediately what he was. Happy as fuck to be here. Completely out of his depth he won't dare rock a boat he has zero right to sail in.

If fans want their football team back, stop paying them money for a Korean circus. If enough turn their backs on the football let's see if go karts baguettes and K-pop are viable without it's anchor Tennants subsidy.

Ok well that guy’s numbers must be off overall the point stands

Us, arse, united, Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham, Forest etc have all bought nobody yet….

Why?

**bar Kinsky
January is a month of need. Most clubs don’t want to add players in January unless they really need to.

City needed to.

Forest feel the need to capitalize so are active.

Spurs need to but not really doing much.
