He was hired specifically to survive a moment like this. The club wanted a project and wanted to stick through with a set of attacking principles.
The idea being that consistency and stability would allow for the thing Levy has always wanted: to win while spending less than the competition.

Still not sure why he is crying about injuries when so much damage was done against Palace and Ipswich ( and Leicester also perhaps ) when at full strength. How much different would we feel if just those 7 points were added. Small margins etc. but certainly would not be crapping myself playing Leicester…

I find Spurs fans dismissing our injury crisis purely for the fact you don't like the manager just uber weird, you literally sound like rival fans trying to play everything down.
Unfortunately we have been saying that since December. He’s a turd that won’t flush at a Party.
I mean, if he loses against Ruud Van Nistelroy actively feuding with his own players then yeah. There's not much defending that.

He did. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He said he’s 100% certain that the club is in a better place now since when he joined. He actually said that with a straight face.
Does he avoid looking at the league table just like he does defensive tactics. The level of arrogance is astounding.
I find all this laughable he should have gone ages ago so the delay is just Levy not being able to swallow his pride.

The injuries don't absolve Ange of anything because they are due in large part to his playing style, training regimen and lack of rotation. Along with a fair slice of bad luck.The usual response when mentioning the unprecedented amount of injuries is..

The Ipswich/Palace thing is fair to point out. As is our shocking form at the back end of last season with a fully fit squad.
We entered this season with effectively 17 senior outfield players. The lowest for a number of seasons.
At a time when EL games increased and the amount of injury time played has grown significantly too.
On paper you need more players. But we started with less than usual!!
Why?
Ange’s choice?
Decision by the people who have been put in charge of football?
Or by the board in a cost cutting exercise?
We kept hearing Ange was not someone Levy could boss around like that. He’s cone out saying everything is in his head. But is it? If we take him at face value he’s the architect of this mess.
And I’m not sure any manager would look at that number of players and our current level of injuries and want the Tottenham job right now. It’s a nightmare scenario.
It’s insane we started the season with so few senior players when we knew that Bentacour was also due to be out for a number of games.
It’s just negligence when you really look at it.
I’m not sure anyone knows who max robson is either!! (I think that’s his name anyway)
This guy is just honest.
I love him as a person and I respect most of his decisions.
He ain't perfect. He was wrong about Spence and I think he is and has been wrong about Lankshear.
So not doing part of his job about pushing the board to get players in. That explains 100% why he is still here because he doesn’t ask questions about spending money.
I think he probably is doing his job in that case.
