Firing Postecoglou is going to be tough. Can you imagine how unhinged the "Big Ange" crowd would be if he was fired?
Fuck ‘em!

I’m ok with it. It’s a results business and he hasn’t got them yet. But what happens if he wins a couple of trophies, and steadies the ship somewhat to finish say top 8 in the league?Firing Postecoglou is going to be tough. Can you imagine how unhinged the "Big Ange" crowd would be if he was fired?
Amazing what good coaching and good manager can do, many believe it wasn't possible.Bournemouth- with only 12 fit players left in the squad - is unplayable.![]()
The idea that we would go up to Anfield and make the 1-0 lead stick, then win a Wembley final battle of the "haven't won a trophy since" financial powers (thereby qualifying for Europe, incidentally), and then sack the manager?Still not enough imo. Europa league and another one hes earned another season.

What world are you people living in? What club have you been supporting all these years?

Including under Ange.
Thats my biggest problem with Ange. Needs all top players fit and flying.Bournemouth- with only 12 fit players left in the squad - is unplayable.![]()

All the while a trophy hex has been toxifying everything.
The Mickey Mouse Milk Cup is a big fucking deal, I'm sorry if that offends you.
FYI - I think it’s pointless anyway. If we escape from Anfield it’ll be a miracle, let alone beating Newcastle (a better team) in a final. We probably have a better shot at the EL where teams are generally weaker.
The only way Ange’s job is saved is if we win a EL or FA cup. The league cup wouldn’t be enough on its own.
Erm yes, and then very much not .. have you seen our league position lately? We’re on course for by far the worst league finish in an absolute age. Ange’s PPG over the last year and a half is abysmally bad.
It’s really not a big deal. It’s an afterthought for most teams. If you get to a quarter/semi you get a bit excited. It’s the FA cups less attractive brother. I’d love to win a trophy, any trophy, but a league cup wouldn’t be enough to justify how absolutely rubbish supporting this team has been on a weekly basis.

The club will look at the likes of Iraola in the summer - if they’re gettable then barring a miracle Ange is gone. No club tolerates a league campaign this dismal if good options are available.

The fact that this is true
Is the reason this isn't true.
This is not a discussion of the grand cosmic value of the Carabao Cup in a vacuum. This is the specific matter of the trophy drought that is tearing this club to pieces being broken after running through City, United, Liverpool and Newcastle on the trot.
That would be an extraordinary accomplishment to live long in the proud history of this great club, and Andoni Iraola would have to be clinically insane to take a job that would sack a manager having accomplished it within Daniel Levy's straightjacket.
It's written on the fucking wall, mate

Yes he has a bit but did he start Spence v cov? No. He only came on when destiny got injured. Add in that Spence and reg arnt even in the EL squad so cannot rotate much there with FBs.Well....
Vs Coventry we played Dragusin Davies and Gray in defence..... rested other MF and Forwards too.
Vs Quarabag we started Gray Dragusin VDV and Davies in DF
Vs Fevancharos we started Gray Romero Davies and Porro.... Romero only playing cos of Drag Red Card
Are you telling me that isn't some rotation in DF?
We're you expecting us to rotate in the prem?
Injuries meant we could rotate less.
To say Ange wasnt rotating in the cups is disingenuous....plenty to be pissed off about without making things up
Too away
