We are looking for a coach that's hopefully the right fit for the club who can improve us.

Me personally, i'm not like the majority that continuously talk about "the tottenham way" and wanting an attack minded coach. I'd prefer a balanced coach over an attacking one and I think both the names I've mentioned have a good balance.

You don’t have any real hope to ever see us win anything? It’s just about a specific way of playing for you?

Deep down the majority of fans know that the owners are not serious about competing for trophies, but we still want to see good football being played, to see the club at least playing in europe whether it's the EL or CL.

And for us to either attend games if we can or just turn on the TV and enjoy the game and be entertained!

Not watching it and squirming as the inevitable shitshow takes place nowadays!

Out of interest, those of you who watch La Liga…

What’s the Girona manager like? I know he got them promoted, and I know he stabilised them by not just keeping them up but finishing mid table, then of course last season eyes were on them as they were pushing up at the top of the table and eventually achieved Europe.

They don’t have a huge budget, they don’t have star players (they have Gil for crying out loud) so I would assume he’s a manager who can make a team more than the sum of its parts?

However I’m admitting to not really watching La Liga, is he a coach who had a purple patch? Or a coach who actually could be decent for a club where we’re high expectations, low budget? I note they’re currently 8th.

Twenty years ago I never used to miss a game following us or other games on the TV

Nowadays I struggle to just watch us as the fare served up is usually a borefest!

Every game now is unwatchable by the second half if one team has the lead… from there all you get it shithousing, time-wasting, set pieces and goal keepers taking forever to take a goal kick. Maybe something unexpected happens in the last minute if you haven’t dozed off already

They were electric last year. Very similar style as what we are trying to pull off. They had a go at anyone and everyone. La Liga itself was bought in on the story as well because they need people to believe it’s not just the same 3 teams every year - even if it blatantly is.

And they all do it some more effectively than others

Newcastle for instance

The one that annoys me is the late substitutions where the player coming off trying to take the longest route!

Should be an automatic yellow!
