If or when they sell it'll be based on the financial benefit to them. ENIC.
Wether it be another investment firm, a state backed hedge fund. A Mid East consortium.......Levy and the Lewis family won't cut off their noses to spite their faces.
Whoever it is, after so long, we just desperately, desperately need a change with a new impetus and a new direction

Look at the amount of views thede vids get for God's sake. The idea that anyone thinks Utd get a 'free pass' when they're the biggest club in the country is laughable sorry - they are a media dream because there's so many eyes on them

Yeah thinking about it more they’ll just sell to whoever gives them the most amount of money or that’s the best deal for them. I’ve just a bad feeling that bald little fucker will hang around for as long as possible to try and get some credit.

Exactly - Like - the news people see on their phones and computers is so trimmed and catered to your interests that to experience what it is like to be any other kind of fan you would need to spend 3 months of clicking on stuff that was only to do with said other team....

Spurs fans thinking the media is awash with anti-levy articles and that the football world is being shown the truth about them - is just not happening - maybe somewhere in their feeds...... maybe on the BBC..... but mostly it is just in your feed because you care about spurs.

Its 2025 - this is how news works.

I expect the ownership of a club to care somewhat about on field success which is the primary purpose of the organisation.

I find it strange that you'd find it strange that this would be the case otherwise so called "big" clubs all around the globe would be following the ENIC model of operation.

I'm glad you find it hilarious though that I expect more.

You honestly think there are any owners of top clubs in the top leagues of football in Europe that care more about the fans than making money?

Why would you think that?

You can want that - we all want that - but the reality is that they didn't get involved in the game for the fans - they got involved in the game for themselves. All of them.

The FA don't even care about the fans..... why would the people who own the biggest clubs?

Do you think Abramovich, Ratcliff, Levy, Bohely, Kronke, Mosur, the Saudis ever cared about the match-going fans?

Dan , can you not read ? We were discussing the bbc & Sky , both have been very damning of Levy over the past few days . We were wondering this is happening now as it is easy to blame it all on the manager but they’ve gone for the jugular , I said United due to its fan base would be an easier target for clicks

You seem have this tendency of looking for small points , not sure why , deflection of the subject ? Such a need to be involved in every levy debate ? Maybe try to discuss why you think that big media are doing this now . It’d be a lot more interesting 👍

I cannot be the one deflecting on a subject you bought up, you said that Utd are getting a free pass in the media, trust me they're not and especially since Ratcliffe has been cutting costs and doing a load of fuckery over there, there's been more media attention on them then normal because of what's been going on that club, Utd are just generally a bad example anyway.

This is where the discussion kicked off, Tomo mentioned TalkSport who are apart of the media so you're gonna have to explain to me what I have done wrong here particularly when you said they're getting a 'free pass' from the media, all that's shown you is that your statement is incorrect, that's all.

I take your point about how the media are now focusing more attention on the way ENIC are running this club though but this is what the media do anyway, hit piece after hit piece particularly when your club is making the news because it's easy clicks for them...Go back to different times even when Spurs have been doing well I remember the big talking points about the Poch team was that our players weren't being paid enough by the club...I remember Sky and BT having regular discussions on this, it's just how the media work.

We discuss this all the time in this thread, there's a spate of articles about the club and the board particularly when we have underachieved they just go into overdrive generally because fans are click thirsty.

The one thing id say about the BBC is that in the UK there is no ad revenue - i wonder if they are more vocal about united on their international streams.

As for sky? I have no idea..... some clubs just seem untouchable to them.
