Difficult situation. We can’t be waiting till Monday for him and end up with nothing.
There’s also the Ange requirement of only signing players who want to be here.
I'd not worry about Ange's requirements blokes needs to put down that copy of 'Wogs Poofs and Sheila's" and hope Amazon rush round that copy of Tactics for dummies. Bet Levy won't spring for prime delivery.

I'd be up for it if it were a senior pro who was very likely to hit the ground running for us, but IMO with Tel we will very likely not see much of anything meaningful from him until he's up to speed and properly match fit, which would take weeks. By the time he could be hitting form at the tail end of the season, we've likely paid a sizeable loan fee and covered his circa £100k/week wages for 6 months for the sake of a few good games. AND we'd still have to find his replacement.

No serious side in the premier league is doing a straight loan deal for a teenager.

He's not just some random young kid though..... He's a high spec, much fancied player who's got top table BL & CL experience and is hungry (hence the move). No reason why he couldn't make a big dent in the Europa League even if it took a little longer to get used to the EPL.

We had this whole debate over Reguillon when people insisted anything less than a no-clauses, permanent deal was crazy and 'small-time'........ Bet not a single person wouldn't have preferred a back-door on that deal now, eh?

Loan isn't a dirty word.

I’m gonna say it now. Tel would not be enough on his own. Young player, hugely talented, but he’d be adapting to the league and country.

It needs to be Tel and someone like Wissa who can come in and give us PL nouse and be up for the fight straight away. Richy and Wissa would actually be the kind of forwards you need when you’re scrapping for points - big, physical, making defenders’ lives difficult.
Wissa big?! He's 5'9 and 11st.

Who is buying Garnacho?

Napoli? Not for the money they want and it will drag into the very last hour of the window unless they accept a stupidly low price. Last thing you want is to sell to Italians when they have you over a barrel
