From a cold blooded point of view, there is no downside whatsoever with it being just a loan. We lose out on nothing but potentially have more firepower for the remainder of the season.

In actuality, yes it'd be a drag to start liking a player if he performs like a superstar, only to never see him again from May,,

Tel is one of those players I wouldn't even have bothered to put us in the hat for. We rarely show the ambition for these types of players.

The guy is levels above what we currently have out wide atm. This is a massive boost to our attack.

I watched quite a bit of Bayern after the Kane move and Tel always stood out. He would get 15 min cameos and always made something happen. Very direct and dangerous. Hard pressed to find a better Son replacement tbh.

If so I will be home in about 2 hours to receive a very large slice of humble pie . I will stop off for some custard , will be hard to get such a big slice down if this is true

Apparently Spurs manager rang him and explained how and where he wanted him to play. Player and agent happy with that

Thought all the talk was of him wanting to come to United. Guess that was bollocks

So rejected Spurs last week. Watched us yesterday and decided Spurs were the better option.

If I weren't a coward, I'd wager everything I own on him scoring against us when we meet in 2 weeks.

Ready for everyone to have a fit when he tears it up at spurs.

Outmanouvered by fecking Spurs after they were rejected initially...
