I think it's another case of him looking worse on the right (see Moore, Odobert, Werner) than the left but he's just so good you get him in and worry about it later.
He gives us a genuine class option at LW which means Son's minutes can be managed and he can also up his levels.

My friend phrased it in a text as “he’s the Timo Werner injury replacement in the squad” which actually makes a lot of sense. When you phrase it that way it seems a lot better, considering that Tel makes Werner look like a pub player
